This is a true hidden gem. One of a few games which we had really fun playing with my gf and friends. This game a must-have for local multiplayer parties. The concept of the game is kinda hard to do because NPC needed to act really random in order for player to hide between them, but this game NAILED it.

Truly, the best couch co-op game there is. This is a dark horse and will surprise you. A very very simple concept executed masterfully. It brings you back to what it felt like to play consoles with your friends in the lounge room in the good old days.

10 years later, this is still the party game I come back to the most. The concepts are simple enough that I've been able to play with people who don't speak English, but nuanced enough for hours of fun. It's an absolute bargain for the amount of fun I've had with this game. It's the perfect mix of good mechanics, simple controls, and fun stakes. Happy death racing!

There is some deep tactical and competitive gameplay to be found here. Up to some degree, what you see is what you get. The UI and graphics are very simplistic. The game is local co-op only; the hurdle here is waiting for an opportunity to enjoy this masterpiece. As a player, your goal is to get a read on your opponent. The more rounds you play, the more intricate this premise becomes. It's a super fun and original core mechanic. Requirements (if you have access to neither, there's no point) - a bunch of controllers - friends involved with the game There's plenty of room for improvements, like a point tracking system or a way to hide the flaw of hearing the clicking of the other player's buttons on their controller. Still, this is the OG version of this brilliant idea. I'm scared it will get stolen one day.

We like HIPS. It's not graphically impressive. The sound is functional. The UI is no great shakes. Etc etc. This is not an AAA modern blockbuster. But it's a good time. Local games of varied natures are all too lacking on PC and the bottom line is that this one is simple fun that bears repeating. I've played this on and off with my wife and kids for years, and the best recommendation I can give it is that, if we don't play it all the time, it never gets uninstalled. Says enough,
