If you like runner games then i'd recommend you try this, otherwise it might be a bit frustrating to get through. I got about 2/3 way through & called it quits, I don't think I currently have the skill to progress further without spending several hours learning the levels. Thematically & artistically it's brilliant, it's got a bunch of voice lines & cut scenes, awesome music & lots of characters and designs that fit really well into the League universe. Some issues I encountered - Especially later on the game was starting to stutter with the explosions & loading the level as it changes the music if you hit or miss. - I found the controller best to use with the D-pad, but the down actions felt like you had such a small unforgiving window for it to actually work, especially going down ramps. - Again some of the later levels felt like they were trying to trick you, as it felt like doing the shown action would cause you to fail, not sure if I was doing something wrong or if you're supposed to go off script.

Just beat the final boss. What an absolute joy of a game. Where do I begin. I almost didn't buy the game because I'm a certified league hater™, but I'm glad I did. The game's easy to get into, but hard to master. I tried to grandmaster every level and that took a while. Didn't mind it though, because every song in the soundtrack is a banger. The game is played solely on three buttons, but boy oh boy is there a lot you can do with them. There's a sense of satisfaction when you perfectly play out a level, that only few other games can match. Ziggs' animations are a joy to watch. Actually, all animations in this game are very well made and remind me of games I played in my childhood. Just pure fun. There's a lot of stuff you can do in between button prompts, at which the game hints with the music and visual cues (like gizmos). Played it wholly on the steam deck. It ran great 90% of the time, but there's small stutters here and there, especially in the later levels. I assume there's just too many particle effects happening when you just blow up everything on higher mayhem. Would still recommend it on the deck though. It's great to play a couple of rounds on the loo. There's only one thing I might critique for me specifically. I would've liked to practice certain parts of a level, because sometimes the hard part is towards the end. Going through the whole song just to get one shot to practice the end is a bit annoying, but that's a niche problem for tryhards like me. So no biggie. The characters are a bit too childish, but that's ok. Not every game needs to cater to dead inside adults like me. I hope the lads behind Choice Provisions and Stemage are doing well for themselves, because I think these guys are insanely talented and definitely put in some hard work.

So I don't play League of Legends, but I love rhythm games. I saw some reviews where people said it was to hard. I love this game tbh. The music is pretty good, yeah it gets hard but its fun and feels good to play. I like the characters they're cute and fun, the game looks great. It is a short game, I bought the DLC as well just so I could play more. I love the way the boss fights feel I wish there was WAY more boss fights tbh and just more of this game in general. If you love rhythm games give this one a shot, it's fun.

I don't have any interest in League of Legends and this game is great regardless. The game is very challenging and no level or song feels the same.

It's fun game.. I just wish they added more dlc's. League has too much good music, it's a waste not to use it. Hopefully they will bring back Riot Forge at some point or at least hire the devs again to add more content. "I make my own doors, Heimerdinger!"
