Game is amazing but you the better version is cheaper on gog.com and comes with all the official expansions where as this game is the base game only. Other than that, its amazing to play 4k Homm3

the GoG version regularly goes on sale for a couple dollars so that is the version most people will prefer. however, if you do not want to bother with modding for HD and for the fan-made expansion, this is a perfectly fine version to play, despite what the naysayers would tell you. it's still heroes 3. i played a ton of it. i didn't even *realize there were expansions for it until very recently*. your mileage may vary. would recommend buying on sale though as you are still supporting ubisucks

Its good. but get the Complete edition of the game from GOG for a lot cheaper and just download a hd mod.

I still remember booting the old off-white computer, in it's own non ventilated room, right next to the old off-white printer. Days spent installing from 2 different CDs, playing our turn, leaving the room for the other to play. This game is still worth playing 25 years after it was first released,

A true classic. Game is good, but complete version is not available on steam. I didn't realize at the time I bought this that it wasn't the complete game. Complete game you can get on GOG for less than $10 and mod it for HD quality.
