A Love Letter to Eroges, and all who love them. If you like Eroges, whether serious or nukige, or anything in between, I would say this is a must play. There's a good reason this game got 2022 best Eroge in Japan, with many both likable and memorable hate-able characters, in both serious and (more often) non-serious story lines. You know the VN is good when the male characters and MILFs are likable. Also please watch at least The Shawshank Redemption before playing this, it references the movie a lot. You do not need to play Nukitashi although it adds a bit of fun to the story. Patch is a must and the scenes are non-skippable, some of them have fairly big plot points in them. Anyways regarding the translation, I have already previously bought and played the JP version when it came out, and after finishing this release's EN translation, I would say they did a great job. I personally thought of this game as basically being untranslatable due to the constant and numorous language based jokes (and mainly how Himeru and other people mishear it) but I think they did mostly a good job on that front. I haven't noticed glaring flaws and while the translation takes liberties when its necessary to make jokes work, I think the majority stays true to the original text. I do have two criticisms though. One is that I think the original translators might have missed a few references to other media and didn't really try to do the translations properly there (yugioh part was a lot funnier in JP due to the creature name jokes, along with a few other minor jokes), and the fact that the game has numerous "non-text" quips voiced in the background which are very funny but is completely untranslated here due to no actual words showing up in the script. Outside of that, very well done. My personal route recommendation will be Chisato, Taeka, Noah, and finally Grand. I think Chisato's route is the weakest but its also probably the one that introduces the most mysteries without solving them. Noah + Grand route is what I personally feel is the meat of the game, and I think doing those last is the best for my personal preference.

This visual novel is legitimately one of the funniest pieces of media i have ever experienced. It's absolutely ridiculous in the funniest, weeb-iest way. It's insanely clever. I would buy this for the humor if nothing else.

I clearly did not know what I was getting myself into, but I'm here for every second of it. PS. The patch is MANDATORY. Ridiculous but damn hilarious. There are some plot holes here and there regarding some characters and their actions but so far it's a good read. Translation is a bit odd at times when the spoken voices doesn't quite match with the text but it's accurate most of the time.
