At first I played this game through... other means... but it was so amazingly good that I bought it and finished the game twice. It scratches the itch for adventure that I always love. I haven't been pleased with a harvest moon game in a long time.

it's very simple and compared to fields of mistria, missing ALOT of QOL features. also alot of weird invisible walls that really hinder the "open world" concept. however, it is a big step up from previous natsume games. i hope in the future, that character assets are shared with npcs and vice versa to give more appearance options.i would also like to see swimming, jumping, items not disappearing from the map when a bag is full regardless how long you leave it and that items are usable while put away in storage while crafting and such.

Very nice, chill game. The design of the open world can be frustrating sometimes. That would be my only negative. It is a great game. Runs great on Steam Deck too. Recommended.

At first I was skeptical of this game. But long story short, I've played it more than 200 hours at the time this review was posted.

This game is great for anyone needing that adventure/farming itch. I have loved this series since I was 5. Since the split, Natsume has been putting out bland HM games since the split while Marvelous has been showing where the heart was in the duo. So when I decided to pick this up I was ready to return it within the 2 hour limit if I wasn't into it, and I must say I am hooked. The open world aspect to farming sim is lovely and I catch myself mesmerized by the world. They got the aesthetic down to a T. The beginning is a little bit of a struggle but it is worth it. Makes you feel accomplished. I haven't dived into the characters yet but the MC is more expressive than they have been in awhile in these games, but when I opened the wall and went to the other village no one has hugged their long lost relatives so I'm worried further interactions with characters is gonna be stiff and "bland"... Also lag for me seems to be non existent, but a settings/graphics menu would of been a great addition, not sure why they didn't add one.
