There isn't much of a story and it gets straight to the point, you shoot your way around in Quake style, the game is kept quite simple and you shouldn't expect a blockbuster title here. It still plays well and is definitely quite nice for in-between times. The only thing that bothers me is that I had the bug twice that the whole level was displayed without any wall or floor textures, so you wander through the level and have to guess where the invisible walls are, unfortunately the only thing that helped was restarting the whole game.

Pretty unusual game for its non-typical enemies in an FPSā€”no humans or humanoid enemies shooting at you from coverā€”and an inventive weapon system. Basically, you have only two weapons, but you can switch different modules for various purposes. I canā€™t count this as a big plus because Iā€™m more used to classical weapon systems, but itā€™s definitely clever. As for the gameplay, at some point, it becomes tedious and tiresome. On Insane difficulty, you pretty soon end up only using two weaponsā€”the rocket launcher and the railgunā€”while the rest of the arsenal feels like junk. Many battles often feel repetitive, though I will give credit for the good boss fights. The setting is boring and honestly didnā€™t evoke any emotions. Itā€™s standard FPS from the 2010s. I donā€™t know what was going on in the game industry back then, but from 2010 until Doom 2016, most shooters... They werenā€™t bad, just not interesting and kind of hollow. That said, I still like the game, itā€™s a 5/10 for me. Would I recommend it? Only if youā€™re a big shooter fan looking for a non-ordinary shooter from the 2010s.

A flawed shooter with great non-stop action, made by a talented team that's still finding their footing. Beautiful to look at, but suffers from a lot of visual clutter during combat making it hard to make out what you're seeing. Writing is absolutely horrendous, which renders the comic story scenes between levels useless. The game is hard. You will die on normal if you're careless or don't utilize your weapons properly.

Pros -Beautiful future dystopian setting -Fun and fluid level designs(only a little backtracking through certain levels) -lots of achievements Cons -About a 5-6 hour campaign(Too short) -Cut-scenes are in a comic book style Overall If you like boomer shooters than this is a fun and pretty one you can beat in a day or two. if you can get it for cheap even better
