It's a shame this game didn't get any recognition, because the concept is brilliant. The combat is pretty simple, and a little clunky at times I admit, but it's servicable. The encounters are great (except when you get shit on by the game, looking at you Dark Dweller...), and the game itself (achievements included) are challenging, yet not too difficult.

90% of negative reviews are morons that dont realise they can visually track the cards as they are being shuffled in chance sections, like jfc idk how someone misses that, this game is heavily based on decisions, every one of them matters. much more thought out and more thought provoking than the mindless grindfests that I see on the store page every week, nice to play an actual game for once (all my hours are on xbox)

Great game, intresting card/fighting game, the concept and the idea is amazing, kinda of a hidden gem this one. However it's luck-based usually and me and my luck are garbage, but besides that still a great game 10/10

This is one of the most marvelous experience i had among games, the idea of combining card game with real-time battle is so brilliant the content is limited but every bit of it is perfectly designed and implemented, every equipment specializes in its own characteristics and nearly none of them is redundant which makes players able to improvise under specific circumstances the core gameplay develops many different branches. there are nearly 10 modes with different backstories and rules applied, not just hardmode and players can completely throw themselves in these scenarios and learn new (methods) from old (core gameplay) But there is also some demerits. Due to this newly applied idea of combining combat with cards, the combat part still requires refinement, particularly in camera movement. an uncontrollable camera is not good for fighting enemies, and the targeting also functions weird. another shortage is manifested in the plot designing. Though every encounter card of every questline is well conceived and these scenarios bring much immersion to players, there is not much explanation or narrative on the whole world frame, like who and what is this dealer? But these are really really small defects that wont shade the greatness of this game, if you are interested in card game and also into action games, it is worth a shot
