Ground Branch... I love you... but I also hate you... Obviously I've played a decent amount of this. It's a blast. However, it feels like it's regressed a bit. When I first bought this I honestly didn't have a lot of complaints. The gunplay is completely unique. It's probably the only time I've played a game where it feels like my character is actually holding the weapon. Bringing the gun from low ready to firing position feels weighty, it feels like your arms are actually proportional to your body. It's honestly hard to understand if you haven't played it. With that being said, the AI come in 1 of 2 forms: -Brain dead -Brain dead with aimbot It's not very fun. They move awkwardly, they are inconsistent with the difficulty, it's just frustrating and breaks immersion. Now if you play with friends, you are good to go, just run some drills in the shoot house or do some PVP. That's always fun. But I play solo, and the lack of AI development was discouraging. Even with that though, I still dumped hours into this game. I've kind of stopped playing, but there are two things that will bring me back: 1. Please please please address the multiplayer servers. There is so much potential for fun PVP lobbies, but it is a mess. There is no map rotation, the game modes don't ever change, and there is almost never any active servers for PVP. It's so frustrating because the multiplayer could be good, but it's just not. Please just create some sort of vanilla server or two where it's PVP and it rotates maps and game mode. That's all I ask. 2. Just a little more blood and gore. I could live with the AI for a bit longer if there was just a little bit better gore. I don't want to sound crazy, but for me at least, it would add a tiny bit more immersion that would make the AI bearable. Overall, so unique, so fun, very talented team, please don't ever let this die.

This game is literally insane, if you like tatical shooters you just need it. It has so many unique features and such good ones that you would want it in all the fps you play. Heck i will list them for you - High/Low ready system (basically you have stamina that affects your aim so you need to keep your weapon at an unready stance, you can also use it to not flag your teammates, it is so well done , use mouse wheel to put it that i really want this in every game possible). - gun porn (no really, a customizable attachment system like tarkov, you can set the sights in different distances to increase or decrease eye relief for example, or put 7 flashlights , 5 sights in a gun because why not ?) -PIP scopes (scopes function like scopes, no zooming your entire screen), they will also do it with nightvision in future updates also... - Objects afect your aiming position, want to shoot too close to a wall ? you gotta use hip fire or your character will acommodate to it in really cool ways - realistic night vision (no filter in your screen, you are using a tube and seeing through it and impacts in all the ways looking through a tube would) - Sun and moon cycle (yep you can choose a freaking day of the year that the moon is at its most unseeable phase to pop people in the dark without them knowing you) - Different reload animations in prone stance ( your character has a longer reload animation because he needs to move a little to reach his pockets and this balances prone stances in a wonderful way) - Tatical door opening (just use the mouse wheel to adjust how you open a door in the smoothest way possible) - Several maps (an airplane ? check, oil rig ? check , Middle east compound ? check, Soviet era base on a mine ? check, bank robbery, mexican cartel, a ship you know the drill And last but most important, the bots in this game kick ass, they will immediately react to your shots, try to flank and pressure you with numbers, and they are still on the early stages, the devs already hinted to throwing grenades and using a new system to move in squads and etc. They are still a bit buggy but in this current state are the best AI bots in a game i have ever seen, if you think not try completing any mission with 30 of them in the highest difficulty setting. And the best thing of all, the devs are pretty passionate and with each update the games changes to something incredible, if you have a little bit of time to understand the mechanics of this game you will get addicted. So basically a must buy if you like realistic tatical shooters.

Its hard to decide if you should or should not get this game. Tactical.. Sometimes. military... for sure its got the uniforms and some amazing guns. But its sometimes not a welcoming community for new or even experienced players. Everyone believes they have the "Right Way" of playing the game. I've waited so long to right a review and now I think its time. I've been playing for years. Lone wolf or joining servers. It can be a lot of fun if you get a good group together, and even mods really carry the game. BUT some groups take it very seriously and ACT like pros. Screaming that you need a Mic and that you need to be tactical... That never happens. Most to all servers are mute. The "TACTICAL" groups are either fun or toxic there is no in between. I've been kicked for being "too annoying" or for team killing when there has been no communication through the whole match. But "they" have been communicating either through discord or just to their group. The (TBR) server is one of the best servers ive played on. They have fair rules, do check for team work, and check for mics. they can be strict but its fair, and they have rules posted. Im happy to be able to play there and have an amazing time. Other server are not that way. Not saying dont go try other places, just be prepared. So if you jump in be prepared and walk carefully or you are out. No warning, No conversation, YOU ARE GONE. GOOD? BAD? idk its hard to tell. I enjoy this game when things go well, but lately its just a kick fest. Even if you are trying your best and really trying to be tactical. if someone doesn't like you or you team kill the wrong person out of "ERROR" not multifarious intent. Then prepare to be kicked and look for another server that you hope is using communication and isn't just another server of muted operators. Either be super tatical like ARMA or SQUAD, OR prepare for it to be ran like a call of duty lobby. I guess jump in head first and pray for the best. At this point I'm still not sure if its worth it until these communities and servers can find a healthy balance of what they want and or looking for. If they don't want random people just make a locked server, and stop having a power complex for kicking people. I might sound whinny or cry babyish but i REALLY enjoy this game, the talented Blackfoot studios, and the amazing modding community... but the people in the servers are my biggest problem at the moment. so all i have last to say is enjoy the game but be prepared to walk on egg shells, you never know who or what you are going to play with. Because if your not careful prepare to just leave the game. Hopefully you can get back in and apologies so you can keep playing with the group you are enjoying, or prepared to be kicked for hours. TBR has been the only safe and fun server to have a good time in ,as well as to really learn the game and really enjoy some mods.
