I've never played the flat screen version so I don't have that to compare but this game blew my mind. It was awesome and you should try it if you like these types of games. It was hard and I died in every conceivable way but what fun it was! . Great game. Having said that, the gripes that this game needs updates are well founded. Please get on that Incuvo, and maybe make a part 2.

An incredibly enjoyable experience of a VR Survival game in the amazon, with a long cycle of gameplay and plenty to do, and some very thrilling experience. Quite polished and quite fun, with good progression, basically just an older green hell adapted very well to VR. One of the few good VR ports. The main downside is the game is now dead and abandoned for the quest and PSVR2 versions of the game, which are up to date with the Green Hell (non-vr). This is frustrating because this game could have that too, if the developers hadn't sold out. A worthwhile purchase, especially on sale. If you have PSVR2, buy there instead. If you buy on the oculus store, buy it on there and link to your PC instead. (For updates and an even better experience.)

Overall, fun experience. I'm not sure if I'll play through it again, but it was certainly worth playing. I'll never forget the (somewhat) authentic and immersive Amazon rain forest experience. I know a lot of people are giving negative reviews for the promised multiplayer not being released. I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy playing this with friends anyways. The survival/crafting part of the game would be fun I suppose, but this game actually have a compelling narrative underneath, and that's not something I need multiplayer for. There are performance problems, and not everything works super efficiently, but it's certainly worth experiencing IMO.

Great game and basically the whole flat version for PCVR. Unfortunately probably the same thing happend to it like to so many other PCVR games too. The niche is often unprofitable and there is not enough revenue to invest even more working time, so no more updates. But the question is imo, is the game in its current state worth the money? I would say - yes! A great singleplayer VR adventure.

Would highly recommend definitely the best survival vr game out currently Really one of the only if not the only hardcore survival game in vr at this point in time if you liked the 2d version you will love this. 7/10
