Such a fun game! Play it now! What do you have to loose. The music is hype and the artwork in Grass Cutter is awesome. The game itself is simple, or is it? You'll find yourself repeating the same level to get the best time and score and you'll challenge yourself to do better and better. When you run into the monsters sometimes your lawn mower will explode! You can choose from many different kinds of lawnmowers too. Grass Cutter is comical, challenging, fun, and addicting. There are TONS of levels so you'll be entertained for many many hours. I still haven't gotten to the end :)

It plays like a port of a mobile game, yet feels quite great for PC at 4K / 27" If it makes me grin and makes my mood smoother after playing, it's a good game! This one makes you exercise basic reflexes, some creativity and comes just great at its current price. I thank the developer for porting to GNU/Linux, I love playing it and won't ever install Windows' malware just to burn time. Works flawlessly on Fedora 28 with 7700K, 16 GB of RAM and Nitro+ RX 580 If you gotta try it out, try it out #YMHP

I picked up this game since it had pretty rare achievements, and I figured it'd be a laggy, meme type game. I was wrong. I haven't played much yet, so this will be more of a "first impressions" review. The game at first appears to be like one of those pixel-app games that goes viral for a week or two, then is never heard from again. Kind of like that Crossy Road game, or whatever it was called. I wouldn't say that this is an overall pro or con, but just something that should be noted. There is a small story to go along with the gameplay, and although it isn't anything like a AAA Game's story, it still adds a nice immersion factor and makes the game a hell of a lot more enjoyable. The ranking system is pretty cool too - it adds a little incentive along with the gameplay. The free gifts thing makes it feel more towards the app side of the game spectrum, but it is a nice little bonus, I must say, as it allows you to change some stuff up, like different characters (like cows!). Now onto the soundtrack. I feel the soundtrack fits the game well, even though I haven't listened to all of it. I can't really complain about it. The upbeat tone really matches the goal of the game. The bonus packs are also a nice little reward for playing, and add more content, which is always a nice thing. The settings menu feels very nice as well, with many options availible. Overall, the game itself is fluid and responsive, and I haven't encountered any bugs. I also believe that allowing the menu to be navigated with the arrow keys was a nice touch, and the three second countdown from the pause menu is good too, so you have some time to think before reacting. So far, I have only noticed a couple of cons. Number one was a small translation error on the leaderboard screen. I don't recall exactly what it said, but it was improper English grammar. Although a very minor issue, I figured I would take note of it. The other one is more of a personal preference, but I don't like how you can hit the fence. I feel that hitting the fence should cause you to lose, kind of like how hitting the walls in the snake games causes you to lose. Although this would make the game harder, I think it would make more sense. Overall, the game was WAY better than I thought it would be. Although it gets repetitive, I feel that it is a nice little time-killer and can actually be pretty fun. Plus, it was created by a one-man team, so props for that. I've coded a few games so far and it would take me forever to make something of this quality. For what I've played so far, I'd give the game a very solid 8.5/10, only losing points for the repetitive nature, but still scoring decently high because of the extra levels and unlocks you can get. Also, plus points for having playable cow characters - mrjodicow will always approve of that :D

My first reaction to this game was "well if Frogger -> Crossy Road, I guess Hovver Bovver -> Grass Cutter". But that was wrong. This is billed as a hard, arcade-style game, and I think that's just plain wrong. It's more of a logic puzzle game that happens to also require dexerity to play. It's really not bad for the price of £0.68p.

I love this game. Looks so simple yet gets difficult later on. You're always moving the moment you press a button. It is possible to find a spot to park on some levels, but since you'll still be using battery can't stop for long either. Controls are simple: arrow keys or WASD along with any other controls you'll get as you play further. The music that plays keeps the game fun for me. They're not annoying loops or generic music, instead feel made for the game and helps it grasp your attention while mowing the lawn while avoiding grass monsters. I find myself dancing to the beat of the music too! My only complaints are that on some levels it's hard to tell where you are horitzontally, the recharge might spawn across the entire level and have to waste time to go, find, and maneuver to it, and the game is only in full screen. ----- Check out more games I see that deserve more attention from my curator group: [url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/BPUGL]BluePaw's Underrated Games List Join and/or follow if you wish.
