I first played Granado Espada years ago and stepped away in 2019, frustrated that I couldn’t immediately compete in PvP. I focused on other games, but honestly…I missed it. So here I am in 2025, back in the game and loving it. Yes, the cash shop is still part of the game. Rare characters often debut there first, and if you want the latest top-tier lineup on day one, you’ll pay for it. But that’s true of most long-running MMORPGs. The key difference now is that catch-up mechanics and luck-based events make rare characters and strong mid-game gear genuinely attainable just by playing. You can grind, quest, and gradually build a solid roster without spending a dime. What makes GE stand out is the lifestyle fit: you can legally auto-grind. I leave my squad farming while I work, do chores, or run errands, then come back to see real progress. For a busy adult who still loves MMORPGs, that’s gold. The community feels healthier too. Botting is way down, and the “I was banned for no reason!” posts you see are usually from mule accounts that got caught. A few quick ratings: Gameplay – 10/10: The unique 3-character MCC system still feels fresh and strategic. BGM – 10/10: One of the best soundtracks in any MMO, period. Cash Shop – 7/10: Optional but present; control your spending and it won’t control you. Granado Espada remains a beautiful, distinctive MMORPG that keeps receiving updates. Don’t let old reviews scare you off and experience it yourself to decide. See you in the game, pioneers!
