Quite a short, self-contained story. In fact, that's what I liked about it! The story is like a manga one-shot in a beautiful pixel art style. It reminded me a lot to the manga Solanin and a bit less the the one-shot Goodbye Eri, which is good lol

Often as indie developers, we aspire to create games that capture inspired moments, whether it's the satisfaction of a puzzle solved, an enemy vanquished, a story finished. Rarely are they about game development though. To have the seemingly endless frustrating and toiling process be mirrored in our own game isn't even particularly satisfying, or even poignant. So why do we make games? GOODBYE WORLD is a short, touching visual narrative about a pair of troubled game developers and the harsh realities of indie game development.

please please please play this game. the art is adorable, and the story is amazing. the final chapter is actually heart-wrenching, i loved it. itll only take a little over an hour to complete, i fully recommend it to anyone whos thinking about it
