God of War: Dadnarok is basically Kratos' journey through Norse mythology… while surviving the real endgame: parenting a moody teenager. Sure, I came for the god-slaying and epic battles, but I stayed for the father-son drama. Kratos throws his magical axe like it’s nothing, but can’t dodge Atreus' sass. Freya’s furious at you the entire game (honestly, relatable), and somehow Ragnarok feels less terrifying than trying to have an emotional conversation with your kid. In short, it's a heartwarming family therapy session... with dragons. Would recommend for anyone who's ready to battle gods and teen attitude.

For anyone that buys the game, there is a scene loading issue at the Nidavellir tavern that will stop you progressing where Atreus slides across the room instead of walking up to the dwarf. A simple fix is to do a save and reload the scene and he should just walk right up to the dwarf and you can continue.

Bigger and better than before although it suffers a bit from pacing issues. All in all, its a great single player experience.

played it already on playstation, loved it, playing it again, loving it even more now that im not stuck at 30 damn frames. as for the ps signin thing. why? BAD SONY. BAD. aughta treat you like a dog shoving its nose in its own crap. work around: top left corner of steam. go offline mode. ez bypass. enjoy people.
