I really enjoyed h this cheeky little point & click. Loved the art style. Loved the sound fx and the voice acting was absolutely fantastic. The story was creepy but not scary, tons of mood. and great environmental storytelling going on. The humor was cringy in a good way- lots of pop culture references- some that GenX will get without having to Google it, some geared to Millennial senses of humor, some very Gen Z. The cheekiness and the overdone cringe was what made it funnier to me. No deeply hidden subtle humor in this one. Some adultish situations and language, so probably not great for young kids, but pre-teens and teens? No real problems, I think. I see some folks saying none of the characters were interesting or relatable, but I found them all to be quite relatable, even the annoying ones (because we all have some people that we love but who annoy the heck out of us in our lives, don't we?). Accessibility Text has good contrast and is of a good size- but there is no Text or UI scaling- keep that in mind if you have vision issues, and changing resolutions can cause some elements you need to see and use drop below the screen edges. You may need to use a magnifier program to make things larger if needed- I did not test any, so I apologise- I cannnot say if they will be truly helpful. I played on a 34" 2560x1440 monitor in fullscreen, wearing my bifocals, and had no issue. But there are some fonts that are used that were more difficult to read, and could be problematic for someone using a screen reader or with certain forms of dyslexia. Can be played with one hand using only a mouse *except* for needing to use the space bar to bring up all interactive spots at once (you can see them by hovering over them as well, but you will need to search every scene carefully in that case). UI can be a bit wonky- some interactive spots and the indicators for them can overlap when multiple intractable objects are close together, and the label can sometimes stick to your mouse cursor causing one object to appear to have 2 labels. Could be a bit confusing for some. All voice acting is also displayed as text, so the game should be playable for Deaf and HoH gamers, though you may miss some of the ambient sound and audio clues/cues. None of the puzzles were really difficult for me, but for some folks with certain types of ASD or ADHD, they may be frustrating. Lots of missable achievements as well- use a guide (there are several good ones here on Steam and online). **There are some visual effects and lighting effects that create flashing or strobing, and many scenes are either very dark or very bright. May cause issues for people with some forms of photo-sensitive neurological to conditions (mainly easily triggered seizure disorders and migraines).** No fast reflexes needed, no timed chases or puzzles, so you can take your time working through things at your own pace. The game does autosave, but there are some scenes you cannot save in until a cutscene plays, and making lots of save points is recommended so you can go back and replay a scene if needed- again, there are guides that can help you with getting 100% in a single playthrough. All in all, I really did enjoy my time with this game, and absolutely recommend it for people who like mildly creepy, weird, some cringy humor, and light puzzle action.

Lets go back in time when such games were good Oh what a charming game, what a breath of fresh (yet old) air. The charm, the looks, the atmosphere, almost everything is great. This is an example how you do point&click adventure game in modern times – you just do it like you did it back in the day. You play as three characters in a crazy world revolving around cultists and solve puzzle to get around through the crazy world. Gameplay is traditional point&click, go there, talk to someone, use an item, pick up an item and so on. But it's done so well, just a perfect balance between frustrating and boring or too easy. Usually the puzzles aren't too hard but will require some time to understand. What I admire the most is that the puzzles are logical, that's why you need to think more rather than trying random things. All the characters are made well are super charming, especially the black cat. The world is big and youu'll explore multiple areas full of secrets and puzzles while unraveling the crazy story which culminates in a way you would've never guessed. Graphics are great, it looks cute, the character design is great and so are the surrounding. You can see this game was made with love and care. It takes you back to those days when such games were popular. And bring those memories back. Sound desing is another great thing about this games. Voice acting, especially cat's voice acting is outstanding. The music on the other hand could be a bit better, it becomes slightly monotonous. Performance? I mean it's a 2D aventuure game. Toaster friendly tag. This and excellent adventure game I recommend to anyone who enjoys these types of games. Just get it, you won't be disappointed. Pros [*]Great story [*]Amazing character design [*]Good humor [*]Fun puuzzles [*]Charming artstyle [*]Good sound design Cons [*]- [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/32930811-Kosmos%27s-Cosmic-reviews/?appid=704030] Follow my curator page for more [url=https://www.twitch.tv/crazykosmikbunny] My Twitch

Gibbous is a lovely game. It's got an intriguing story, great artwork and locations, fantastic voice acting and some really quirky characters and humour. There's only two tougher riddles in this game, though. The rest is pretty simple, if you're a seasoned point & click gamer. If you like point & click adventures, you'll love Gibbous. I'd easily recommend this as an entry into the genre, too.

Just having finished this game, I cannot but stand in awe of what Kickstarter sometimes represents to the entire community of gamers. How many wonderful experiences we would be deprived of, if not gamers supported the developers who truly respect them and create games which really mean something? This game has been one of the most extraordinary adventures I have had the distinct pleasure to play, finish and feel sad that it actually ended. The attention to detail, and a wink back to the good old days of the 80s and 90s gaming, Gibbous - A Cthulhu adventure, is literally Call of Cthulhu and The Secret of Monkey Island mixed together with a pinch of so many other games just joined in a perfect harmony. There is literally no bugs I have seen in this game, didn't crash once, all save games functioned perfectly, you can replay the game in multiple localized languages versions, and it even has an in-game helping system, as they perfectly knew that some things may be difficult to detect amidst the absolutely breathtaking cartoon art that composes the game. The voice actors are spot on, the story is not only hilarious it actually is better than a lot I have seen around (and I have seen a lot of things... trust me), and the place it now holds in my heart is that something, that precious stone of reality we all, we gamers, seek in the life we live in this hobby (or should I call it real living) we all name gaming. Well done Romania. Damn well done

I'm not a big fan of point & click adventures and this game couldn't change my mind, but in the end Gibbous was a short entertaining "Cathulhu" game with funny dialogs, interesting puzzles, a great graphic design, Disney-style animations and a talking cat. A slightly different approach to the Cthulhu mythos.
