Pales in comparison to Gauntlet Legends or Dark Legacy back in the day but, for the budget this game was given, a damn fine adventure to coop with friends :)

Gauntlet Slayer Edition pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //a lot of difficult battles/boss battles //some overpowered enemies //some enemies have unfair attacks //some difficult puzzles //could use more gold drops //sometimes too many enemies constantly spawn //some lack of directions/instructions //sometimes too many traps/hazard areas //some hazards can instant kill //some maps are too dark to see //upgrades require a lot of resources //collecting resources are a grindfest //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $1.49 Or Less During Sale

revisiting after years, I can confidently say it is 100x better. It's still not old glory Gauntlet Legends but atleast I can say it's a good tribute.

Brings back memories of dumping quarters into that old stand up machine in a local arcade. Great with freinds! Would LOVE to find a co op working original game of GAUNTLET for the pc, especially on steam.

Not a bad game, but not the best Gauntlet game ever made. In my opinion, Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy are so much better. Steam, get these two games added to the library ASAP.
