List of information I think might be useful if you want to get this game: 1. The way the game handles plants is by generating every individual branch. This means that you can trim plants by branch and cut off individual flowers, but it is also rough on your computer. This means the game has a default cap of 200 plants which is not enough to really design a whole garden especially after you unlock all the areas. you can increase this cap in the menu, but that makes the game more likely to lag. I first bought this game on Switch. I never got above 20 fps, I had to quarantine by bushes because if I was ever looking at more than 3 large plants at once my game would noticeably slow down. I have not had this issue on PC but I also have a gaming laptop. 2. Progression in this game is kind of busted. I haven't really had the QOL issues other people are complaining about, but I did get $100,000 in the first season using the market stand, with relatively little effort. the most expensive upgrade I have found so far is around $7,000. You can't run through all the quests as easily but games where you can max out the currency/upgrade system/whatever well before you are done with the story quest is a pet peeve of mine I suppose. It just feels like it wasn't balanced too well. For this reason I have never made it past summer in game, so I can't speak to the issues people are talking about with quests for the wrong season popping up and being impossible to finish. 3. If you are like me and get easily motion sick this game might cause issues. IDK what is up with it, but it has given me a headache on multiple occasions. I think this might be a result of the game not having a crosshair, which is complexly understandable; it's a gardening game. Unfortunately first person games without them tend to give me headaches so it's that or just something to do with me turning and moving too fast in game. Basically I would recommend getting it on sale, but wouldn't call it a rip-off at full price. Even though it has it's flaws the core gameplay is fun and I never felt like I ran out of things to do because I was just having fun tending to the plants and rearranging the garden 1000 times. Even when I was playing on the switch and was too busy mitigating lag to really design a garden how I wanted I put like 20 hours in so take that for what it's worth.

Honestly I love this game from start to almost finish. I feel seen, it is wholesome, great to play on or off stream. Yes i dream of more for the game's future which will be exciting to see if anything else happens. was really glad when the plant limit was extended. Everything is just so god darn pretty. I am also apparently about 30yrs off being Leslie.

The mechanics and visuals are great and the story flows nicely. My only complaint is that it does trigger motion sickness, for those who are susceptible. I'd love to see a third person option.

I love this game and it's very easy to lose time playing. But, that being said, it is extremely annoying to have a plant cap. Barely 10% of my garden is covered and I can't plant anymore because the game tells me there isn't anymore room. Especially when I have the whole Greenhouse a good 80% of the initial garden and across the bridge empty. And that's in the story and creative. I understand needing to have somewhat of a cap on plants, but barely being able to cover the garden because there is so much space but the game doesn't allow you to use it is aggravating. I would almost prefer that the garden was smaller so it doesn't look so empty. And yes you can decorate it and that's fun but the reason I want to play is to plant a garden. This game has a lot of growing room and I enjoy playing it, but not when I have to go back and delete half of my garden to plant other flowers.

4/5 - This game is very cute and cozy, HOWEVER there is a limit to how many plants and decorations you can have in your garden. If there's a way to upgrade or expand on this, the game would be perfect and a 5/5! There are a few things I wish could be upgraded, like seeing the bugs on plants better, hovering over the plants and it tell me the name of said plant, and aligning decorations and plants better. I do LOVE the variety of the plants but wish I could mix the plants in the bouquet instead of only having one type/color.
