I love the game. Its style and unique system are fun. The deduction concept took a bit to get used to using. I did dislike quests being abandoned by surprise without warning when a choice was made that moved you past that "chapter" without realizing it would. Happened to me twice at major points leaving major tasks I wanted to complete unfinished. The overall concept of the game though is great and I highly recommend a play-through for anyone.

This isometric RPG invites players into a vibrant, cyberpunk world where they take on the role of a private detective in a digital universe. Players navigate various virtual realities, solving mysteries by interacting with NPCs and making choices that significantly impact the narrative. The visual style is distinctive, featuring a colorful and detailed aesthetic that immerses players in the futuristic setting. The storytelling is compelling, exploring themes of identity, morality, and the consequences of technology in society. Gameplay focuses on dialogue, investigation, and problem-solving rather than traditional combat mechanics, allowing for a unique approach to challenges. The branching storylines offer multiple outcomes based on player decisions, enhancing replayability. While it may not appeal to those seeking action-oriented gameplay, this title excels in providing an engaging narrative experience that challenges players to think critically and reflect on the choices they make. Overall, it stands out as a thoughtful and immersive addition to the genre.

Really enjoyed this one. I was initially sold on a Disco Elysium comparison and while it's definitely a more dumbed down version of that, it's still a meaty story and will feel pretty familiar for Disco fans. Highly recommended. Pros: - stunning scenery. Some of the best I've looked at in ages. Just taking in these areas is worth price of admission IMO. - a game of choice where it actually feels like choice matters. I regret my failures and many decisions and could feel their impact at times. - a lot of interesting ideas, characters, choices, etc. There's an incredible amount of variation in this game. I was chatting with a pennywise the clown virus one minute and solving a FarmVille slavery ring the next. All before the primary story truly kicked in. Cons: - while I do love the story it gets pretty convoluted and wrapped in some mild tedium in its back half - I genuinely hated the obtuse Hon Clan segment. Imagine an illogical point and click game with half dozen objectives but a limited clicks before getting locked out. I can't imagine anyone getting thru it on their first play without some help and it really signaled a lessened enthusiasm for the rest of the game. - Super petty on my part but when it comes to endings you're essentially given a decision tree of possible ones to choose from based on how you played. It let me save in this moment so I could experience them all. But it only gave me the achievement for the first one I chose and didn't reward achievements for making choices toward the other endings. Like I said, it's petty, but the my ending achievement is definitely the most shameful ending which I guess I carry like a scarlet letter. Good game. Would do it all over again 😉

A solid RPG, though if you want to get every profession, be ready to approach every conversation as a point grinding event and not from roleplaying perspective. If you enjoy a game with a LOT of dialogue and no combat, like Disco Elysium, then definitely check it out. It might not be on the same level, but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Light recommend. It's a really solid idea and the heavy Polish elements on slang is a nice touch but the story line is choppy. The ideas are good but the way they're presented can sometimes be rough. For example when you arrive to a murder scene there is like one dialogue pop up "Oh, X has been murdered" and then you can just start talking to any rando about it before ever getting the full details by actually looking at the body/talking to cops on scene. This creates a bumpy narrative I equate to MMOs where the connective tissue between interactions can sometimes be missing. That being said the deductive process is neat (you're presented with a bunch of clues and can discover different conclusions and those ideas feed into the next question/conclusion etc.), the "skill" system is interesting and a lot of your choices carry forward (and the game does a good job of telling you they do). Ovearll I'd rate it a 6 or 7/10. Good ideas, interesting setting, decent game mechanics but rough presentation.
