Pretty cool galactic nation simulator, similar to a very affordable, less word intensive Stellaris. It's more fun to watch the nations rise and fall and construct a personal narrative around it than it was for me to try and play the game in Empire mode but I still think it certainly would be more enjoyable the more I played it. I got it on sale for less than 5$ but either way at it's current price point of 5$ it is quite affordable compared to a lot of other games out there. Good story builder and with Sandbox mode a fun god game of sorts.

Snoddasmannen, my sweet summer child, please come back. I still love this game and all games like it. You and Fantasy Map Simulator could rule the world together. This game is so much fun but so rough around the corners, yet I have sunk an ungodly amount of hours into this game on Android. It's such a niche market but one that I hope continues to grow, because my God do these games get addicting.

This is one of those games that was made for me. I was hesitant at first, but also optimistic, because I love watching things evolve organically, and this game does an amazing job. I'm not at this point yet, but the game also allows me to jump in and try to influence an empires path, relinquishing control as desired and taking control of someone else, but that aspect is just a small bonus. I'm enthralled with Galimulator, and I think it is perfect the perfect game to have running as I do whatever. Set a lot of parameters and be as hands off as I want while the game does its thing. Very therapeutic.
