Freshly Frosted is a puzzle game where you complete levels in a donut factory. In each level, you connect the machines with a conveyor belt to assemble the donuts you need and deliver them to the counters. The game is broken up into 12 different stages of 12 levels each. The puzzles get more complex as the game goes on, with a new element added in each stage, although they vary in difficulty from beginning to end. Some of the early puzzles are relatively challenging, and there are easy puzzles mixed into the later stages. I thought the puzzles were generally pretty enjoyable. I was able to solve most of them without hints, although there were some I definitely had to puzzle over for a while. There is an in-game hint system. If you need a hint on a level, the game will give you a few blocks in the correct position for the answer. There is only one hint per level, so if the hint they gave you isn’t enough for you to figure it out, you have to look up a guide. There were a few puzzles I needed a hint for, and while in a couple of cases the in-game hint was enough to guide my thinking where it needed to go, most of the time it felt like the hints weren’t really helpful in getting me through the part of the level I was stuck on. Some just gave me information I had already figured out, and most of the others just weren’t enough help to get me on the right track. It would have been nice to have a hint system that could give you more help if the first hint wasn’t enough. I really enjoyed the soundtrack to the game. The music was nice to listen to and gave the game a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Freshly Frosted is a cute, relaxing puzzler that’s a good value for the price, especially on sale. The puzzles felt varied and challenging, and I enjoyed playing it through to the end. I would have appreciated a more dynamic hint system, but other than that I think it’s very well done. 9/10

Freshly Frosted is a very good puzzle game with a lots of levels. It's a chill and funny game and the puzzles are not too difficult. I highly recommend it!!! 💗🍩💗

In short: play this game it deserves way more love 9/10. As a puzzle game it is really well made even if I got stuck in some levels not fully understanding the new mechanics or finishing some levels through shortcuts. But everything else was perfect for a small game. You might get frustrated at times but the narrator is always helpful by giving you hints and taking away the pressure reminding you that this is a cozy, casual and relaxing game about donuts.

Good puzzle game for steam deck. Core machanic is conveyors where you need to deliver items from A to B. There are 12 boxes with 12 puzzles inside them. Each box presents some sort of new mechanic, sometimes they combined. Some levels are just tutorials, but some give your brain boost. But there are no too hard puzzles because of size of levels. Personaly hate some puzzles that rely not only on path of conveyors but on tact of conveyors.

SO DANG CUTE!! I love the soundtrack and the gameplay itself is very addicting. It starts off pretty easy and quickly ramps up into a more challenging puzzle experience, with the later boxes bringing in fun new elements. I felt stuck on some levels, but thankfully there is a hint option that doesn't overshare the solution. Plus, the narrator's voice has to be one of the most soothing sounds ever. I want donuts after playing this!
