In my opinion as of late 2024: the closest to real life sim you can get. Particularly the whoop physics. I often will fly in game to practice and then run out the door to try IRL. Time and time again, FPV logic has the most 1:1 experience ration. Graphics: Good, nothing to complain about, nothing mind blowing either. Audio: Lots of room for improvement, the drone sounds are at least decent and not annoying. Impacts + dynamics audio are pretty cheap sounding and not-immersive. Maps: The maps are gorgeous ad made for flying. Gaps and obstacles are laid out in such a way you can move from trick to trick seamlessly. The downside of this is that IRL is much more chaotic. There are only a handful of maps as of now, and only a couple worth flying for very long. Tune + Rate: Full betaflight functionality is key! Having the ability to access rates and tune from mid gameplay is amazing. Bugs: I haven't really experienced much of anything. couple of weird collisions when crashing but otherwise very stable,. great optimization. Even if not finished, I would still suggest the purchase in this state as I use it directly for training regularly.

FPV Logic is my favorite freestyle sim. For context: I've also tried Velocidrone, Uncrashed, Tryp FPV, Liftoff, Liftoff: Micro Drones, and the official DRL sim FPV Logic is a little barebones, but for a freestyle sim where I just want to putz around an environment and flow through cool gaps and lines, it's the closest I've found to the same feeling in real life. It has a race mode that is fine and includes AI opponents, but it doesn't have Velocidrone's custom tracks or nemesis mode I seem to be suuuuuuuper sensitive to the physics model "feel" of these sims - the only two that feel close to right are FPV Logic and Velocidrone I know people say they can get some of the others closer to real life by tweaking quad and physics settings, but even after a bunch of googling and trying other people's weird settings, none of the other sims feel right me. They just feel wrong - like I can fly in them, but the quads don't feel right and its like sandpaper on my brain

FPV Logic is my favorite FPV sim in 2024. The graphics are really good and with a few tweaks to the settings, the feel of FPV Logic is about as close to real life as you can get currently. I've purchased and tried almost every sim available and IMO FPV Logic feels and looks the most realistic out of them all. Uncrashed is a close 2nd in overall feel. I tried TRYP after the recent update and it has improved, but something about it still feels off to me. The Factory-2 map in FPV Logic is one of the most intricate and detailed FPV maps available from any sim and it is where I learned how to dive tall objects. The stick time I've put into that map alone has given me the muscle memory and confidence to attempt the same moves IRL. The in game drone selection offers flexibility to learn the feel of different drones including tiny whoops, toothpicks, cinewhoops, race and freestyle, there is an option for everyone. I've been flying the Volador VX3.5 in game and liked it so much I built one IRL. The graphics quality and attention to detail in the drones is impressive, the developer didn't miss a thing, even down to the texture and colors of 3d printed parts. The in game VX3.5 is identical to the one I built. I've been into FPV since Dec 2022. At the time of this review I have around 100 hours of stick time in FPV Logic and well over 4x that amount of time in other sims combined. IRL I fly for fun, mainly sub 250 digital drones. My Settings For the best overall experience, I've been happy with the following in game settings: [*]Analog video effect: OFF [*]Resolution: 2560x1440 [*]Frame Rate: Unlimited [*]V-Sync: ON [*]Graphic Quality: Highest Drone Setup: Set your rates to what you like. I'll share mine below. Also, in the Camera Settings , changing motion blur and lens distortion to 0.0 makes a big difference in the overall quality . Rates Rates Type: Actual I use the same rates for Roll Pitch & Yaw [*]Center Sensitivity: 130 [*]Max Rate 1200 [*]Expo: .6 [*]Feedforward: 50 Camera Settings [*]Tilt: 16 [*]FOV: 120 [*] Motion Blur: 0.0 [*] Lens Distortion: 0.0 Overall, I really enjoy this sim and feel it is worthy of support in its current state. If I were to be critical of anything, it would be that some of the maps feel incomplete, but the game is Early Access, so I don't hold that against the developer. Some of the maps are a bit rough around the edges, but the quality and effort put into maps like Factory-2 make me look forward to future updates. I can't wait for the full release. Wishlist to Dev: [*] Multiplayer: FPV is better with friends [*] Drone Builder: Let players replicate their favorite drone or build their dream fleet [*] Map Editor: Outsource some of the dev work and let the community contribute

After hundreds of hours across FPV sims, my main two are Liftoff for racing and FPVLogic for freestyle. In my opinion this games freestyle feels almost spot on from the gravity to the prop wash of each different type of drone. The biggest turn off for me on these type of games is that low gravity feel, this game gets it right to me. I've gotten way better at hitting gaps and control thanks to the detailed Factory maps. I know this game is beta and really want to see what they can do with it. I really want to see it focus on freestyle since the other sims lack the maps or physics. A steady release of detailed maps, or real life bando locations would be a dream.
