Progression in this game feels like a drug. Constantly making that new tool while furnaces are plinking away in the background. This game will have you wanting to do that for hours, it's REALLY addictive buttttttt VVVV Development has ceased so the unpolished and grindy aspects will never be reworked. (Pre-robotic shovel archaeology, fishing rod uselessness outside of kraken eyes, legendary gems farming, slow spirit orb usage, nuclear structures being worse.) Dev seems to have moved onto a 2D sequel while leaving forager out to rot.

SO much fun. progression and getting the achievements is satisfying. I love the pixel style. get this if you're looking for straight forward progression with little need to reference guides outside of game.

The only problem with Forager is that it kind of 'ends early' at the 10h mark, things get just a bit repetitive. However, if you're into these type of game, you WILL play these hours in a row. It's that good. I just wish there was more to it. At hour 14 I called it quits, i don't care much to see an end screen at this point .

Forager is a fun little survival game that's best enjoyed in small doses. Trying to play this game like Minecraft or Terraria will most likely burn you out pretty quickly. It does have community mod support, which is nice, but the actual content of the game is fairly limited. It's fun, but a little shallow in my opinion. 7/10

Was only really updated for a year... I was hoping to be able to come back to it and find the multiplayer update was out, but no. It seems like it's abandoned. Though, it was quite fun when I played it.
