Went into the game blind and had fun. Recommended, but only really on sale. 26$ is a bit steep for a game that only took me about 2.5h to beat on frightening difficulty with little to no intentions of replaying. With price aside though it was pretty good :)

This is arguably the best addition to the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, it's not short at all, and the game has so much action and adventure. If there was a downside, it's that some of the objectives are not very descriptive, so you really have to search everywhere. But other than that the game is pretty much perfect. It takes a few paths away from the book but still winds up about the same. I highly recommend this game to any Five Nights at Freddy's fan.

The pixel art is top tier and the game is great at capturing the vibe of the creepy run down pizzeria without overdoing it. This game is a fun game was a great short and sweet experience.

Since this game's announcement, I was worried it would be a rather dull retelling of the original Fazbear's Frights story. Fortunately, after completing this game, I'm glad to say that I was proven otherwise. It's not a super complicated game, nor mechanically in-depth, but what it lacks in complexity it more than makes up for in sheer amounts of polish. I was blown away by how much effort was put into each corner of this game. The pixel art and animation in this game are incredibly impressive, and they help to aid the atmosphere that the developers set out to create. I don't remember every detail about the original book this game is based on, but I'm pretty sure it's not an exact retelling of the original story. While the major story beats are mostly unchanged, there's still enough content in between the most important parts that it avoids making the game feel too dull. I've only played through the game fully once, taking around four and a half hours to complete, which is not a bad length for what this game sets out to achieve. However, it seems that a bulk of this game's content comes from replaying the story on harder difficulties. With the ability to toggle a built-in speedrun timer present in the options, it seems that the developers push for replayability, which I find welcome in any game. I think this game is worth any FNaF fans' time, as it's clear that the developers put all of their efforts into making sure that this game captured what made the original story so engaging, and is a great way to re-experience that story again.

As somebody who has been very much feeling the concern of quality in the recent games, especially in the anniversary line-up for the FNAF Series, this game was such a welcome surprise. I was excited about this game from it's initial reveal but....Holy. Crap. This game is absolutely amazing from it's environments to it's sound design to the story, everything about it is such a fresh and incredible ride for this series and I genuinely cannot say enough good about this game. I am genuinely amazed and so unbelievably happy with this game and I hope Mega Cat gets to adapt more of these books, they are the goats. If you are on the fence about buying this game because you aren't super into the books, I promise. Neither am I. This game is a MUST play for any Five Nights at Freddy's Fan.
