As an avid aquascaper, fishkeeper and goldfish breeder, this game has an excellent design. I think this can be a super helpful way for those keeping to trial different aesthetics or aquascapes before build-out IRL. In terms of the game, I think a really interesting mechanic to add would be varied color morphs. IE: As a ranchu breeder, you could have several base colors in shop such as red, white, black and breed them to create blue, bronze, lavender and tricolor offspring. This would add some serious depth to the breeding mechanics as well as drive the player to interact more in depth trying to understand breeding mechanics. Insectron breeding in the game "Rogue Galaxy" for PS2 would be a good structure to liken to what Im describing. Super interested in seeing where this game goes!

im having a rad time with it. it fuels my need to aquascaping without getting another aquarium in the house. I do wonder if there will be new fishies in the future too? like rays or eels etc. overall its a vibrant and chill game

I genuinely love this game very much! It is very simple and straight forward for someone who is just starting and has just enough to keep entertained while also not becoming overwhelming. Some of the decoration controls are difficult to adapt to as are the camera angles, at least personally. It took me quite some time to become proficient with the camera and discover it's quirks. Similarly, learning to adjust the placement, scale, and angle of the decorations also took some time. That very well may have been my own learning struggles though and may have been much easier for other users. That is not at all a complaint, just something I noted in my own experience. Aside from my own learning curve this is such a lovely game. The animations are really great in my opinion and the music is such a nice touch and creates a great atmosphere. I am a beginner freshwater fish keeper in real life and have kept fish since I was a child, and recently I have not been able to keep any due to living circumstance, so this game has really satisfied that desire and I have nothing but adoration for it! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this game and cannot wait to keep playing it <3!

A cute little sandbox-sim game of creating and caring for aquariums! There's no real end-goal or much to do beyond its initial premise and surface-level ideas. It's a very " comfy " game, which have gotten very popular nowadays. Now, I don't see the appeal of such, especially for long-term play. But I certainly didn't have a bad time with my short session with this game. But I simply don't feel like coming back since there's nothing really compelling me back. Still, it's fun! And the game desperately needs a photo mode, I feel. Same with a very quick, simple guide to help with the editing tools. Especially since some tools can be quite awkward at first. Now, this a fairly alright game. But the hefty 20 bucks price-tag just doesn't seem to apply to the amount of time I foresee the general player spending with it. Luckily I got it on sale or otherwise I'd feel scammed. I recommend you do so too.
