This game is very unique, its basically a tile movement based brawler, and theres nothing quite like it, its insanely fast-paced during combat, and its truly a Hidden gem . What you see in the steam trailer is what you get. The game supports a lot of accessibility options for impared people, and the OST although not a fan of 16-bit/8-bit music, this one really rocks, and are really good to listen on their own or during game. The only issue that it dosen't have fluff like achievements and cloud saving. Also as some people have pointed out, the only place you can save is at the bed's inn with the Viking npc where he sells you ultimates . Its annoying but it is what it is.so after every floor, always come back to the shop at the bottom and save at the bed, otherwise you risk losing an entire floor of progress. I give this a 8.5/10, i need to play it more, i've played very little of this, but so far floor 1 and 2? i had a blast.

I struggle to blame the people who gave up on this game a few hours in. It features a number of obnoxious aspects made by someone either amateur or downright spiteful. The constant backtracking, the juggling of puzzles and random encounters, the maps being drawn out and taxing to navigate while every step is a chance to stumble upon yet another random encounter as their repetetiveness slowly begins to ramp up, the New Game + making unique trash drops from bosses actually very valuable AFTER I gave them all away to NPCs for bits of trivia because they couldn't be used on anything else in a regular playthrough, nevermind that there are 3 different trivia NPCs with different dialog and you only get 1 boss trash drop per playthrough SERIOUSLY WHOSE DOWNRIGHT DERANGED IDEA WAS IT TO DO THIS UTTER HORSESH... ...And the fact that I was still earnestly joyful after I completed my playthrough is a testament to how solid this thing is overall. Despite all the rakes I stepped on along the way, having lost count somewhere in the triple digit area due to life-threatening brain damage, at its core it's nonetheless a good videogame made with an honest intention of making a good videogame. The style is soulful, the environments are pretty, the characters are endearing, the story is interesting, and the combat is well designed. At the end of the day, I was subjected to a rough but fulfilling experience that without a doubt deserved my funds, time, and mental investment.

Pirated this game at first, saw how much of a gem it was and bought the game as soon as I could. This game is super underrated and deserves a lot more attention.

Incredibly strong core gameplay loop and extremely charming visuals and characters. Fight Knight gave me a big stupid grin on my face all throughout. Extremely good game.

The game is quite charming with all the colorful NPCs. It's also a difficult game that forces you to adapt. I recommend it, especially when it's on sale. However, the game loop needs refinement since you have to backtrack to town all the time. The further you advance in the dungeons, the more you'll need to return to town to save, as death means losing all your progress. Also, exploring is a pain because the monsters spawn infinitely. Nonetheless, it adds weight and consequences to your actions, so I understand why it's there. (Just add bonfires so we can save, please, dev 🤓)
