Great game, but a bit buggier than its previous installments. There is a game-breaking bug so I advise you, before taking the bike to the convenience store to leave your flashlight in the study. I did not do this and found that the flashlight just completely disappears and you cannot access it during a pivotal part of the game. I had to start over. Luckily it isn't a long game, but regardless this was frustrating. Besides the bugs, the game is really enjoyable and very unsettling. I felt very uncomfortable and moments were I truly felt scared. I'd recommend this game.

Part three of the Fears to Fathom series, it features a narrative-driven experience where you are left to do a house-sitting job for the weekend, and as strange things occur, you soon find out that a horrifying stalker is after you. The graphics and sound design is great and contribute significantly to the feeling of dread. The gameplay mechanics are relatively simple but the game’s strength lies in its ability to keep players on edge through effective pacing and suspenseful build-up.

audio design made me pβ™₯β™₯p my pantsα΅”α΄—α΅” β™‘ sound β™‘ This game builds a great atmosphere with heart-racing intensity that lasts from start to finish. The audio design is phenomenal ; every sound feels perfectly chosen for its situation . I feel like it didn't support the horror but rather... defined it for me? Idk how to describe it but I think the main aspect that scared me was the sound because it made me so paranoid xdd! α΅”α΄—α΅” β™‘ fav moments β™‘ One of my favorite moments was watching TV in the living room. The sofa placement made me feel incredibly vulnerable, with my back facing an open space - on the left a window suggesing that a total creep could be staring at me at any moment - and on the right, I kept expecting someone to burst through the door. Farming achievements is also so fun in this series! β™₯ β™‘ my unprofessional analysis β™‘ 1. At times, the game felt like it leaned too heavily into horror stereotypes. The video "How to Be a Better Person" and the bizarre TV cartoon felt a bit over-the-top. 2. I struggled to find the flashlight, to the point of needing to google its location, which was frustrating (more my fault than the developers, i know). 3. I couldn't find any audio adjustment options, only graphics settings in the menu. 4. On the positive side, the story is much improved and spine-chillingly realistic ! 4. The paranoia of not knowing who to trustβ€”Evelyn, Carson, Turner, or even my dadβ€”made me overthink so much! It plays perfectly with your psychology. 5. the ex-girlfriend's line, "If I can't have you, no one should," felt like a cringe-worthy clichΓ©. Also , I'm curious why the antagonist's involvement with drugs is a recurring theme. Is this Rayll's way of saying "drugs are bad, kids. Dont take them!"? I hope it's a purposeful message and not a lack of narrative creativity. Or maybe it's a coping mechanism for a real-life experience he had, which would make it not my business. Despite these minor gripes, its an exceptional horror experience. It made me feel genuine panic, especially with the fear of being followed, which is one of my personal nightmares. Farming achievements is also so fun in this series! *.Β°β€’*.β™‘ οΈγƒƒβ˜βœ§β€’. β€’ Β° 9/10. Loved it! *.Β°β€’*.β™‘ οΈγƒƒβ˜βœ§β€’. β€’ Β°*.Β°β€’*.β™‘ οΈγƒƒβ˜βœ§β€’. β€’ Β°*.Β°β€’*.β™‘
