Wow Art and animation is a good improvement from the Main Fault series. Music is amazing as usual. The real highlight of this game is the writing and character development. Starts very slow but about the middle point things get very interesting and by the end you are it in the feelings with the force or a meteor.

A powerful VN about overcoming hardship, setbacks, and institutional barriers in order to realize your passions. While it has some of the same writing issues as previous entries in the fault series—such as fairly plain prose and boring infodumps—they are less prevalent in LIGHTKRAVTE. The first 10% of the novel is a little slow, and the last 10%, the ending, is somewhat abrupt—all of a sudden the main character overcomes all of his issues—but the majority of the novel is excellent. It's well-paced, there is a real sense that the main character is slowly working towards a breakthrough, and the music and especially the art, from the backgrounds to the sprites to the CGs, are glamorously high quality. Sure, this is not the long-awaited next fault milestone story, but LIGHTKRAVTE stands on its own as a VN of great quality, and gives me hope that that next story will be great, too. 7/10

Sidequel to the Fault series. It is Cinetic Novel - so choices change nothing, it is just story being told. It has much improved drawing (so big hopes for "Fault milestone 3" when it will be released to have such quality too). Again no voice acting and good music. Again pretty short (4-5 hours). This time it is more slice of life than anything (still present some drama and murders). Some moments are questionable, but normal for anime. In general, if you liked other Fault games - this one will open more about characters from them, but from a side perspective.

Unfortunately, there's nothing particularly new or super interesting in this game. It follows a common story about finding your life goals and realizing that there may be different wishes and goals for you. It highlights the idea that changing goals is perfectly okay and not something to be afraid of. However, towards the end, there's a time skip moment which, in my opinion, slightly disrupts the structure of the story. The artwork is cool, and the soundtrack is good. But one odd thing is the lack of voice acting, which is strange considering the interesting characters and universe. They deserved more in terms of voice work. This is my first game in this franchise. Previously, I played a demo called 'Silence the Pedant.' I found the demo to be much better as an entry point because this game feels quite ordinary, making it hard to get interested in the universe. Anyway, I would recommend getting this game when it's on sale, mainly for the cool art and some interesting characters. Just be prepared for a little disappointment due to the time skip and the fact that various moments involving additional characters are skipped over.
