Much like the previous variant, this one is also fun. You have different quests and a different story :) However most items are still the same which honestly I don't mind. Make it better to know which ones are good and bad.

the original Fate was a "cozy bloatware that came with my crappy laptop". its a game that is simple enough for anyone new to D&D style games can pick up and have fun with. its got that kind of "comfort food" XP era style graphics that will hit that sweet spot in nostalgia in much the same way thomas kinkade paintings will have you thinking about thanksgiving at your grandma's house. its not exactly a "must play AAA" but its comfy and fun and if you want that dose of nostalgia that will kill a few days or more: I highly recommend it. just be aware there are some mild issues with crashing on modern PCs but it runs remarkably well given its age and how primitive the save and options menu system is. this may be due to the fact it was optimized to run maxed out on just about everything including potato laptops with integrated graphics. the lack of reliance on cutting edge gimmicky tech that now has to be emulated due to rapid onset sunsetting may also be a factor.

I played fate when I was younger glad I came back and messed around with other builds would def recommended to to people that want to just chill explore and build your character to your play style while exploring vast dungeons and bosses make sure you just mass fish to get the cheese hat i got lucky and got it within 15 min of fishing quick easy money, but anyways i would 1000% rec to anyone that want to just chill

I recommend this game for the enjoyment of achievement hunting on a solid game. There are a few downsides if you want to know; New release coming out with better graphics, storage chest only on one of two worlds, and this seems like a port to me after noticing graphical glitches scattered throughout. Ultimately, I had to collect the series when they were on sale. The Traitor Soul is better in all regard. Get that one or even the newest one instead if you are being frugal.
