Basically the first game, but more. More enemies, more dungeon variety.

I recommend this game for the enjoyment of achievement hunting on a solid game. There are a few downsides if you want to know; New release coming out with better graphics, storage chest only on one of two worlds, and this seems like a port to me after noticing graphical glitches scattered throughout. Ultimately, I had to collect the series when they were on sale. The Traitor Soul is better in all regard. Get that one or even the newest one instead if you are being frugal.

Similar to the first game, but a little more complex. The achievements are a bit more annoying though. Spear class is terrible and beating the game in nightmare difficulty would take forever.

6/10 I loved the original Fate game and am excited to continue my journey in the series. That said, this game feels a bit different in a few ways. To start the map sizes seem to vary more, there are new creatures, maps and music to discover! New quests include protecting or capturing a point, finding several creatures, and escort missions. Now on to the not so great stuff. Run time errors, sometimes the game times out if you sit still too long. The pet in certain forms like the Roach King will slide around the map and take forever to get to a point. The ghost escort missions could have had any sound and they went with the loudest more annoying sound for them that they make often. The creatures that hold bows don't use them, they'll run up and slap you with their hands every time. The bosses over heal like crazy, you can be on the same boss fight for 10 minutes and have no progress. Why are Emerald Crystal Crabs so OP? Killing Mantoids can cause the screen to black out and happens frequently. Only one chest and enchanter for Typhon but not for Druantia. The cards aren't frequent enough to make them useful. These last three points aren't bad things but more questions for the devs. Why is it only 2 quests spawn at a time in towns when in the first game you always had 3 or more available. You can reload and get 3 quests to be available but why isn't standard? Why at the start of the game is there 4 spots for portals/Realms but only 2 are available? Lastly why does the game not scale with you when you finish one outpost? Going to the next dungeon starting at level 1 makes you overpowered but also the xp and gold aren't great. It's like starting over, why doesn't it scale?
