If you like fairy tail, and you like rougelikes, this game is a must. It's got smooth animation with cool effects, challenging bosses, and a pretty decent story. This game features 5 playable characters from fairy tail, and all things considered, their move pools, design, and attitude is all very faithful to the show, with really nothing to be desired. The game has a pretty fun rank up system in which you get exp after doing a run, allowing you to unlock more items and cards for your next runs to switch it up a bit. There are extra character interactions with other characters on the roster, just in case you were missing one of your favorites, which i think is really nice, because it adds an extra nice touch for the gameplay, and an incentive for you to keep playing to unlock all of the different interactions with characters. I really do like this game, and i hope this review helped you decide if you would like it too!

If you've ever wanted to try out the roguelike genre but don't care for the spine-crunching difficulty a lot of them have, this is a good easy one to ease into the genre. It's pretty fast-paced for a turn-based RPG, and the pixel animation for the attacks look great. The story is pretty thin, so you don't really need to know anything about Fairy Tail to get something out of the game.

Really mixed feelings on this one. The gameplay is innovative yet the game is super easy. Finished in 4 hours without ever dying. Every character plays differently yet your deck/upgrade strategy is the same. Not enough choice/upgrades. Yet it is a charming game. Iā€™m not downvoting just because I wish more anime IPs would do something like this, but the core roguelike loop is very weak.

Fun rouge like game, nice to incorporate and play as characters we know and love, with a simple game play that can be relaxing but yet serve as a challenge; Overall, the game is really enjoyable. However, the only thing I would state that is a con is the fact that the deck building is more luck based rather than strat, I wish they would develop this area a bit more

Surprisingly a good anime game + it's not a fighting genre or gacha, which are most anime games nowadays. Devs also listen to feedback and update the game to make it better for players
