you know when you want a game to be really fun, but it ends up being sometimes fun and sometimes not fun? This really is that sort of game. It's a well made game, lets get that out of the way, it's pretty, it's engaging, and you can tell that thought went into how simmy / management-y it should be while being still a game that you play not just work. I just get the feel that if you're not a management sim min/max nerd then it just flows from joy into despondency over seasons without much reason. It's in that the fun can come and go. Truth be told, Motorsport Manager (despite its age and problems) can probably never be beaten as a straight-up motorsport sim manager in this field as there really isn't too much further you can go except graphics, UI and licensing and to be fair this game does those three things pretty well. So I'm recommending the game as a decent updated alternative to MM. It's just a shame that after 3 versions (and this being the final one) it isnt as perfect as it could be, or doesn't blow your mind with new things it does. You'll probably get more fun starting as a user created team as the existing team challenges can be a bit staid, but then if you do your owners will blow hot and cold between seasons. Its a management game to be fair but like in real work I think I prefer to be less punished when I dont get things 100% right than this game offers. But this is not to say I didnt get good times playing this game, I did. I just hoped for more sustained elation and some kind of next level feature that made it unavoidably good. AS it is, it is good and if you're an F1 fan it's the pinnacle of whats available in motorsports management games right now. It just doesn't set the niche alight.

Finished my 1st season in career mode, Verstappen won the WDC but Red Bull lost the constructors because Checo was down 200pts to Max. Very realistic. Would recommend

I am seeing many early reviews of this game calling it garbage, I don't see it. Yeah, it may run a bit poorly in the menus but it seems fine in the race and looks better than last years title. The my team feature is also a great new addition along with the mechanical failures and mentality. I have had no bugs yet as well. If you are having performance issues, I suggest capping FPS for this game in your GPU settings. So far I am really enjoying this new game and its new features.
