Big upgrade to the original 2022 game but I still wouldn't play full price for it. It's fun and more manager-y but after one season or two it gets very boring very fast. There's a lack of drama and story which could add so much to the world building in your, essentially, fantasy season. Would be cool if there were more News articles or little Will Buxton cut scenes or TP interview sessions every few races just to add some variety to this otherwise very monotone game. The mods look good though so at least there's that. Cool community liveries and new teams including changing the team name in the standings, on Racedepartment (or Overtake as it's called now) Look for 60% sales, anything less isn't worth it

Let me tell you about this game. You start off all excited, thinking you're going to be the next Toto Wolff or Christian Horner, managing your own Formula 1 team. But then reality hits you like a wet sponge to the face. Your drivers have the consistency of a squirrel on a caffeine rush, your pit crew is slower than a tortoise on tranquilizers, and your car upgrades cost more than a divorce settlement. And don't even get me started on the weather. One minute it's sunny, the next it's raining cats and dogs, and suddenly your carefully crafted race strategy goes out the window faster than Lewis Hamilton on a hot lap. But hey, it's not all bad. Watching your rival teams mess up their pit stops is more entertaining than a comedy show, and there's a strange satisfaction in seeing your drivers overtake their rivals like they're late for a sale at the Ferrari store. So, if you're looking for a game that's equal parts frustration and fun, where you can live out your F1 fantasies while simultaneously questioning your life choices, then F1 Manager 23 is the game for you. Just don't blame me when you find yourself screaming at your phone like a deranged lunatic during the Monaco Grand Prix.

It's a fair bit more in depth than the previous game. Watch some video tutorials about managing your cost cap. Its a lot less forgiving than in F1M22. The Sprint weekends kind of suck, but, save before P1 and note your setups. Reload after every P1 to get 100% on the setup. I do love the helmet view. It crashes more often than F1M22. Being able to hire someone for next season is a great feature. Yeah... be aware that there are many levels of menus to find settings to adjust to your benefit.

I had been playing Motorsport Manager for a couple of years now, and having a blast with it. Once I got my new laptop, I figure I would give this game a try. For the most part, I am really enjoying this game. The graphics and sounds are really good. Since it is licensed by Formula 1, I don't have to download mods to get the real drivers, teams, tracks, and cars, like MM. However, it is not without its cons. The graphics are really good except for crashes. The crash sequences remind me of games from the 1990s. All a crash shows is some small squares coming off the car as it hits another car or the wall. If the car has front wing damage, it will show the car with a damaged front wing. But for the most part, the car looks like it is in the same condition after hitting the wall as it does sitting in the garage. Another thing I would like to see is to simulate the rest of a session. I would like to be able to start a practice session, or race, and then in the middle of the session simulate the rest. Also, I would like to be able to simulate a race. I would also like to be able to save clips of the race, i.e. overtakes and crashes or have a highlights reel at the end of the race. The last thing this game doesn't have that is included in MM is a listing of the Grid before the start of the race. It lists the qualifying rankings, but not a revised Grid after the Grid Penalties are applied. Overall, I enjoy this game. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a high 7 or an 8. Better more realistic crash sequences would definitely make me rate the game higher.

Things that can make f1manager 2024 the perfect game: - my team mode - play with formula 2 and 3 teams - realistic pilot academy system -accelerated and optimized pilot and personnel development -integrated steam workshop facilitation of mods -that the scenarios bring races from past seasons (e.g. Abudhabi 2021, Brazil 2012) -cars with realistic colliders -better damage model - best system of sanctions, safety car and virtual - to see how they remove the crashed cars -realistic piloting errors, crashes, blockages and more - driver's license outside formula 1 (palou, oward, vergne, dennis, etc.) -better weather -changes in cars (even if they don't make sense) -important changes in regulations, standards and most frequent technological revolutions -old tracks that can return to the championship -that the AI uses the option to remove cars when it sees that a car is too far behind or with the car very damaged -random engine failures -types of team (customer, manufacturer, motorist) -traits for drivers (e.g. paid driver, who wins a championship and retires, star driver) -choice of suppliers of the car's base parts (motorsport manager style) -better management of sponsors -tv mode (as in studio liverpool f1 -single career (as in f1 manager) - best view of the HQ (team headquarters) -everything good about motorsport manager
