I really loved this game. The graphics and art are beautiful, and the puzzles mechanics are really cool as well. The story is genuinely really beautiful. I really really recommend going in blind. Sorry for the mid review but the game is really great!

The story in this game is really interesting and kept me engaged the whole time. The puzzles range in difficulty and they are all skippable without losing any story (though I recommend doing at least some of them). Plus, the soundtrack is really good. Ultimately, it was a fun few hours!

This had been a game I'd played during one of Steam's many Next Fests, and it was a pretty fun puzzle game! During the demo, there was a hint of the storyline, but nothing too crazy. Playing the game though, I found out just how amazing the game itself is. It is fairly short, something that can be completed within about 2.5 - 4 hours, so it's the perfect game to play during an afternoon! While the game does start off slow with the story, it very quickly captured my interest. You start off by playing as a woman named Dysis, someone who is chasing a mysterious man named Evan. As you explore this mysterious island, you first come into contact with the mysterious monoliths that litter the island, then soon meet a man named Clover. Together, you both are trying to solve the mystery of the island, and try to complete both of your objectives. However, there is so much more to this story than meets the eye. The conversations between Dysis and Clover uncovers new information, some good and others bad. The longer I played, the harder it was for me to stop because I needed to know what happened next. While the story does give a ton of detail and goes over a lot of the questions I had while playing the game, I wish there was a way to figure out the rest of the information. Evan's background, the company that sent Dysis on this adventure, and a few others were left unanswered. However, these questions were fairly minor in the grand scheme of the game itself. The monoliths start off easy to solve, but eventually get harder to. For the most part, they were fairly easy for me to solve, but there were a few that I struggled with that I had to pause on and come back to later to figure out. Every chapter had a new monolith function to learn, but also continued building on and using previously learned ones. My favorite part of completing the puzzles were the little flowers that grew on the pillar you land on at the end. It's hard for me to find an art style I don't like, and it's rare to find a game that doesn't have a decent soundtrack to it. Pixelated games are something that always have a special place in my heart, and this game was animated so gorgeously. Everything is so fluid, the scenery is so vibrate and detailed, and the character movements always felt well-placed. The amount of detail put into the game to show the difference between the foreground, middleground, and background is incredible and I have a lot of respect for people that can pull this off. The music was beautiful too, and there was always something new based on the chapter. This is definitely a soundtrack that I would add to my list. Overall, this is a game that I would definitely recommend playing! It's short, it's beautiful, and the storyline will keep you hooked from the first moment you play it. There are mentions of terminal illness and death, so please take care when playing this game.
