Very nice and entretaining RPG/deck builder. You play classes / races. But single race or class deck are possible. Lots of modes. Even a kind of RPG campaing mode.

One of the best RPG card games I have played. It has a large amount of races and classes which you can mix and match to play how you want. Almost all the ones I have put time into so far react differently giving different options based on what your playing and how you react to different scenes. I watched this game for a long time before i bought it to try and I highly recommend just getting the base game and trying it out.

Really fun deck building game. LOTS of cards in this game. You choose a class and a race, each which has its own sets of cards and then you also get equipment which will add even more cards to your deck. All of the class and races play differently and have lots of different cards that interact with each other in different ways. If you like coming up with crazy builds in a game, this is for you. Some may say the game is TOO complex. That there are too many abilities on cards and some of them are poorly worded or explained. It does take some time to really figure out what is going on, especially if you keep changing classes or races, but if you stick with the same class or race for a few playthroughs, you will start to understand how they play and how their cards interact. Game has mod support which is nice, some of the artwork in the base game is a little too NSFW for me and too computer generated, so I was happy to download a mod that changes the graphics for the better. If you want a fun deck builder, which may be overly complex for the sake of being complex, this is for you.

I played Erannorth Chronicles previously, and liked it so much, I thought I'd give this earlier game a go. I didn't have high expectations, I heard that it wasn't as polished, and I have enabled many graphics updates mods to enhance the experience. But I love this game, I may even be enjoying it more than Chronicles, because although it has all the complexity and customization that made Chronicles an amazing experience, Reborn, with its emphasis on gauntlet modes paired with the extensive tutorials (in the Discussion boards on Steam) have been less overwhelming and more linear than Reborn. I've read in prior reviews that it isn't necessary to learn Reborn before moving into Chronicles, that they are two distinctly different rule sets, and this is true! But the openness of Chronicles with its sandbox-focus, or rather the linearity of Reborn, means that with Reborn I feel I'm learning the game in a deeper and more appreciative way, and when I return to Chronicles, I'm going to get even more out of the experience. These games are truly a labor of love and vision by the single author, they are unique masterpieces combining everything I love about roguelike deckbuilders with character customization and story events immersed in an imaginative fantasy world rich with monsters, treacherous foes, magic, treasures and strategic alliances. I can't wait to see Erannorth Renaissance when it's released. Love this game! I only wish there were more games like it.

I've been playing Reborn a lot over the past few days and I have to say that they feel a lot more different than I expected despite so many similarities. I was afraid it would be like playing the same game (and I've already played way too much of chronicles), but it actually is a fresh experience. I think Chronicles is a better game overall, but there are some things I like better about Reborn. Chronicles is more polished and there are a lot more options, but that might be overwhelming to some people. If you haven't played either, I'd recommend Chronicles unless you want a simpler experience. Most classes and races have to be unlocked in Reborn whereas Chronicles gives you everything immediately (although there are progression rewards in Chronicles in bonuses to starting LP). So if you prefer the format of the standard roguelike deckbuilders and want something simpler, then Reborn might be better. Both games have an open world mode, but Reborn has more emphasis on the gauntlet style modes (again like roguelike deckbuilders). I should also warn people that a lot of the women in the game are wearing very skimpy outfits. This might be positive for some people or a negative for others. As for the art style in general, Chronicles is better. Most things are more polished. The biggest thing that is done better in Reborn is how Guild contacts work. In Reborn, they're permanent summons rather than just cards you play once and then have to wait to draw them again. I think you need the DLCs for organizations/guilds, but the base game has hideouts that are also permanents summons which gives you access to allies you can summon and sometimes other cards. One of the worst things about Reborn is you can't inflict status effects on enemies higher level than you. In Chronicles, only control was limited by enemy level. Here you can't inflict bleed, vulnerable, stun, venom, etc. on enemies higher level than you. Another difference is there's a lot less emphasis on skills and prerequisites. The only way to raise skills is through perks (level up points are just for attributes). This means you'll have somewhat more access to cards outside your class/race/organization (although Chronicles does have a decent amount of cards without prerequisites as well). The game does have issues. I've already gone over them a lot in my review of Chronicles which was mostly negative (although I ended up recommending the game despite its flaws). The main thing is there's a lot of mechanics and not always explained properly. The other thing is the game gets very repetitive and involves a lot of clicking for each turn. If you're just doing gauntlets, it's not as bad, but with open world it does feel like a grind after awhile.
