Enjoyed the game for the puzzles and story. Combat is not its main focus. Even the bosses are more of a puzzle base. Took me 20 hours to complete the story.

Overall an enjoyable albeit frustrating experience. Ultimately I am not finishing the game for reasons below, but I enjoyed it. I feel like it requires a walkthrough, since not every puzzle or next step is apparent. Roses: - Soundtrack is great and creepy - Loved the detective mode where I got to keep all my notes on my phone instead of being led from one place to another. - the meta puzzles were cool - Dying wasn't very punishing for a majority of the game - Doggie - Enemy and puzzle variety - The "hint" system is really well implemented - Level design and overall atmosphere is sick. Thorns: ( - The combat system is slow and clunky. You sometimes don't face the right way, or direction lock yourself easily. Especially in the sword sections. Ultimately I am not finishing the game because I'd rather watch the ending in a video rather than try to Dark Souls the stage one of the final boss fight. - Doggie is mostly a whiny afterthought. - Multiple crashes before and during Spiral Castle boss fight - I didn't enjoy any of the boss fights. They were such a change in pace to the rest of the game, and the control system is not fast enough to deal with some of the challenges presented. - The cat section of the Graveyard boss fight. What is the intended solution here other than trial and error? - I guess i just really didn't enjoy the boss battles. The Spiral Castle boss fight is all over the place and a huge difficulty spike. It has too many mechanics that you have to juggle through the clunky controls, and the dog keeps moving. - - The Goliath also sucked for different reasons. The goliath will take longer than 5 seconds to enter the concealment zone, and when you restart from dying in that room, you have to redo the power grid each time.

This is the only game I've played that I didn't want to finish, because I was too excited to play it every time I opened it and would miss that. Even without knowing all too much about "Ordem Paranormal" apart from the English episodes, the story was easy to follow and not too confusing. The puzzles were difficult enough to where I could still solve them but felt really smart after finishing each one. I've already recommended this game too so many people it's so good. Play it. Now.

A great game if you like solving mysteries. Art style is on point, the game has an awesome mix of detailed environments and cute pixel art characters. Overall it's a strong pick, doesn't matter if you love the genre already or you're starting out and testing the waters.

I would absolutely love if it was possible to mismatch the voice and text language. I really want to play it listening to the original portuguese dub.
