Very good game. Honestly, It's still one of my favorite deception games I've played (I haven't played many deception games, but still). I've put a good amount of hours into this game, and sometimes play to this day (friends :P). I played in the very beginning, and have loved it. The problem with this game was not the toxic community; but it might've fanned the flames. I think the problem with this game was the Devs. The Devs reacted poorly in correlation to problems faced, regarding both the game and the community. So what was wrong with the game? Well, put gently, the Devs ruined it. Removing match-making destroyed the game on an unimaginable level. If you hadn't found a group of friends by then, you never were able to play the game. The discord wasn't useful. This caused the player base to collapse. Another reason this game fell was because it was poorly updated. I do understand that for such a tiny team of developers, it would take a while to get huge things done. However, that wasn't the case. The game just felt the same. The new characters, wasd controls, more players per game, and a bigger map were great, but it was all too late. Everyone had already abandoned the game except the few who had remembered this gem and had the friends to play it. Here we go; the problem with the community. Despite being toxic, people enjoyed the game. It's expected to be a little toxic in any social deduction game. However, things were poorly maintained. Some people got banned just because they "got many reports in a short-notice", many times without incriminating evidence. There wasn't a clear bond with the Devs and the community, rather, a tight rope. The Devs communicated with the players poorly. Not much to be said there. The players had given feedback, yet nothing came. Don't get me wrong, the community was also at fault sometimes. Such toxic behavior should not be accepted. In conclusion, a dusty gem. A passion project that lost hope. Wrong decisions and poor communication. I love the game, and plan to continue playing it with friends. For the Devs, I apologize for critiquing your passion project. Thank you for reading this essay I spent more time on than any school essay.

I would recommend this game simply because of the gameplay that forces you to play with teammates, and with deceit. The rankings are jacked up, reports are jacked up and is mainly overshadowed by Among Us. if you want Among Us that has more immersion and built-in voice chat, this game is for you.

The game has undergone substantial changes since my first review, and it's still great. It is a combat based deception game where you do not necessarily need the OK from everyone else to kill who you believe are the "bad guys". There is a TON of room for deception, there is in game progression in the form of perks and unlockable characters, and there are plenty of builds each character can use based on how you like to play the game. Super sweet, free on steam, at least give it a try if you are into deception games or you are doing yourself a disservice.

This is my new favourite game. Currently I have over 500+ hours on this game so I can give my review with some experience. PROS: 1. Game is short, can finish a game between 2-10 minutes. 2. There is a lot of social deception in this game. Similar to other games like Avalon, Secret Hitler, Among Us, Project Winter, you will need to work together to win as crew. 3. This is an Early Access game, and the developers are adding new content all the time. 4. There is a high skill cap in both reading people and combat in the game. 5. Each game can very different, depending on aliens, where items spawn, and what new strategies people are trying. CONS: 1. It is difficult for new players to get use to the system and might get punished in their first couple of games (like a lot of other games) 2. Some trolls might ruin the experience for others as it is a free to play game. (but you can always mute) 3. Small player base. 4. Graphics aren't like COD warzone, basic graphics. Overall I would still rate this a 9/10 game. If there were more players, and more adjusted to social deduction, this game would be a 9.5 for me.

A really good game to pass time! You can easily play any character, you don't really have to pay for the founder's pack if you want to go free to play the developers have made it to where you don't have to pay they just make it an option if the player wants to support the team. Other than that it is a good murder mystery type game that may break friendships if your friend group gets salty very easily. I personally bought the founders pack to support the dev team and to get the extra characters.
