Great Game to play escpecially when you figure out all the mods you can add on here.

I love how you need to be strategic about things, and expecting the unexpected, especially in the campaign missions. But what I love the most is how you can play different mods of different places on earth, for freeplay. I first fell in love with that when I was little, because of The Northern Alex, but I wasn't able to get the game myself, until now. And now that I have it, I can see why people who play this game, like it so much.

It´s a nice, action loaded and creatively made game, just please remove the reminders for the sidequests in the town missions between the normal missions. Apart from that and a few bugs (but cut them some slack the game is old), it´s a really nice game

I'm a late comer to the Emergency franchise, and especially Emergency 4 in particular. I cannot share the same feelings as those who played on release, but i thought i'd put in my thoughts about it Emergency 4 is the prime example of, without better words. A game that is older than a lot of people, but somehow still offers gameplay that is yet to be equally matched. Even though this game is older than me, i find myself sucked into it as the perfect mix of Emergency services, and RTS games. In all honesty, playing Emergency 4 reminds me a lot of Men of War Assault Squad 2 in a way, (another amazing game you should play) even though Emergency 4 is older than even that. Rather than focusing on the large scale, the game makes the individual matter so much. A single firefighter could make the difference between putting a fire out, and needing more trucks on scene. Now the part most people will notice is the graphics, oh lord the graphics. Nobody is afraid to admit they are crap. From the quality of textures, to the ancient animated videos. But that doesnt distract from the game. When you're dispatching units, and trying to contain an incident. The graphics become just a background to the action. The game is janky, buggy, and all around a mess. But i cannot explain how charming it is. The base game is based on generic Europe, but with the modding community (That's still active today!) you can transform it into a whole other experience. From Rural Montana to LA or New York. Each mod changes the formula of the game, and makes for an entire new feeling. Be it the Base game by Sixteen Tons, or the mods made by the community, you can always feel the love put into it. And I think that's my favorite thing about it
