When you've been in the fire fighting business as long as I have, you learn that it's a numbers game, not everyone you throw off the top floor of a building will land safely on mattresses, but we save who we can.

Embr is a mixed bag for me. At its core, the game concept is both fun and refreshingly creative. Every level feels distinct, with enough variation in the gameplay to keep you engaged. But the keycard mechanic really dampens the experience towards the end of the game. It takes away from the joy of improvising rescue solutions with the tools you have. Instead, it shifts the focus toward memorising level layouts, which chips away at the excitement and spontaneity. Some of the larger levels also suffer from noticeable performance issues. The boss fights? They feel out of place for this genre, as if the game is trying to be something it’s not. That said, the multiplayer mode injects a lot of life into the experience—this is a game best enjoyed with friends. While I don't think it’s worth the full price, it’s absolutely worth grabbing on sale. If you're looking for a quirky, cooperative experience, Embr is a game that deserves a shot.

A fun whacky game where you play as firefighters. EMBR has a certain silly charm to it, and is quite a good time with friends. If you have a couple of mates to play with, definitely check this game out.

Very silly game, it's a lot of fun. Really enjoyed the level design and how many unique objectives there are, from robbing the client to fighting bosses and trying to figure out how to deliver food, this game has a ton of fun content.

the early levels were so fun, some levels that are well designed have their own spots of fire source that if you put out quick, you basically have won, and that's the coolest thing ever. UNTIL LATER ON (!!SPOILERS!!) they added censors, cameras, lifts and the stupid CEO face recognition. which kind of cool.. IF you don't have to worry about the fact that the building is BURNING. some levels are complete bullshit, they have hidden spot where you can't put fire out even with the upgraded quantum fire extinguisher, so the fire kept on spawning. and the Crab n Go : Claw Club... ooooh,,, if that level was a person, it would be Hitler. cuz... goddamn, so many things to do, and the fire won't stop messing your gameplay. Also, DELETE EMBR EATS, please, it's the worst mode, the food destroys easily, so you can't throw it to higher floors, at LEAST make the food non-destroyable. TLDR ; Cool concept, good early levels, terrible execution on added mechanics on the later levels, and FUCK EMBR EATS.
