A combination of satisfactory and The planet crafter. its still early days. things need rebalancing. overall in its current state its very much playable and enjoyable. Hint: if you get frustrated with the water world destroying your power generation use mk2 solar panels. These prevent the wave from washing them away.

I'm a huge fan of Planet Crafter and Satisfactory, and this game really finds a great mix between the two. I very much like the dynamics of connecting the conveyor belts, and that you don't get too many "cant build this" red errors. The game gets quite intricate and challenging when you get to the advanced buildings. I really love the ability to use the Spaceships and Vehicles. My only request for the spaceship would be to add an "autopilot" function where you could point to a location on the map and the spaceship would fly there directly. All in all, a SUPER FUN great game, that I greatly enjoy!

This is a very cautious recommend... The problems: 1) I just had all of my windmill power structures disappear from the map after a couple of hours on the world. So there are definitely some major bugs right now. 2) There appears to be some controversy about whether this developer left their previous game in an unfinished state. Namely, they had a lot of pie in the sky features promised and most of them never materialized before they gave up on the game. I see some pretty far reaching feature promises here too - I hope they're able to fulfill those promises this time. The good side is that it will be a fun game if they get the worst of the bugs fixed. It's a good mixture of factory/automation building, exploration, and some terraforming (seemingly more realistic than some other titles). If they can keep their feature promises it will be an awesome game.

I was going in with mixed expectations, but since I had such a great time with Planet Crafter (another great example of early access gone right), I decided to buy the game. And boy, did I make the right call. I was honestly worried at first. I had flashbacks to Empyrion - Galactic Survival, a game that's way too bland for it's own good. I went a few hours struggling (everything was taking so long) before deciding on really going all in into the automation phase. That's where things really took off, unexepectedly. The mechanics are solid. The idea of having quite a big planet/map to terraform is quite exciting and works surprisingly well. The implementation of a purely voxel-based world also does what it should. There is no doubt that this is indeed an early access game, but the sheer amount of content is already largely sufficiant. I'd say the developer should probably focus on polishing things rather than strengthening the gameplay loop, which is already pretty darn good. Eden Crafters could really use a stronger visual identity, though. And some exploration elements would also be a great addition to the game. TLDR: great start, worth your time and money.

READ THIS IF YOU DARE!!! I'm sure a lot of people have already made this comparison and honestly its for good reason. but this game is what you get if Satisfactory and Planet Crafter had a baby. So if you loved both those games you'll love this game. It's literally as simple as that. But I can understand buyers remorse and the hesitation to spend money on a brand new product from an unknown small development team. There are other concerns then the gameplay so allow me to address those as best as I can here. The game is stable. Even when playing with my wife there was no lag, no disconnects, no freezing, dropping of frames, glitching or crashing of any kind. The gameplay is solid. It has a simple easy to follow tutorial that takes you step by step to learning how to playing the game. It has multiple worlds you can choose to play on thus giving the game replay-ability and with the over idea of this game, it also gives you tons of hours of gameplay time. Those two things alone make the pricetag worth it. It's not perfect though. It's sound quality definitely needs to be updated as does its graphical quality. Also I'd really appreciate it if they cleaned up and sharpened their UI a bit. But otherwise, the game was pretty great in every aspect. Just don't expect to be doing anything other than teraforming. There's nothing else to do but teraform. If you'd like some more information on the game with some in-game footage then feel free to check out the review on my YouTube channel (link below). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl0X1y9bO8k Otherwise, thanks so much for reading and I hope I managed to help some of you out there spend your money wisely.
