Useful if you are an artist and you want a program easy to use but i would recommend getting good on Blender with a humanoid instead of yousing this if you are looking for something more complex.

EDIT: now that I have tried my own advice with trying to use other, similar programs, I have changed my mind and rewritten the review accordingly. This is not a magical "git gud at art" tool. Something I learned when using this, is that it's not a magical git-gud tool. if anything, using 3D models is something I would not recommend for someone who's just starting out with drawing or art. 3D models don't bend and turn the way human bodies do, and just simple bodily-interactions in poses is surprisingly-curcial for making good art. 3D model pose tools are more meant for intermediate artists who know what they're doing and want something that'll help them get easy, convenient poses for a character to draw. However, as it stands, easy pose is one of the most accessible means of getting a pose going, without needing extraneous tools or know-how to get a character pose going, or trying to fish through a bloated workshop just to access a solid reference model. Why Shouldn't I just use Source filmmaker, Blender or Garry's Mod? The thing is... you need to be skilled with these tools to take advantage of using them as pose tools. Garry's mod is probably the most-accessible, but you need specialized workshop tools to get it to work. The workshop itself is bloated and filled with annoying s**tposts. On top of this, working with it just goes against the grain of most 3D animation or 3D modelling tools. Source Filmmaker is free, rich with content, and references. However, the software itself is unstable, is prone to strange glitches and only has any real stability on windows. Blender is a 3D modelling suite with a wealth of features and hotkeys that can just mess you up if you don't truly know what you're doing. All professional 3D modelling tools are quirky workbenches with many ways you can accidently screw things up, and unless you use them as modelling tools either as a hobby or a job, you'll wander into a dark forest of hotkeys and features you didn't want to use. So why Easy Pose, then? Because it's easy to use and setup. It comes with a wealth of prebuilt content that you can use for any kind of drawing you want. It doesn't require an extraneous workshop things to setup, nor does it require experience in 3D modelling software to use (it helps, but not required). That's why I recommend Easy Pose.

I'm a digital artist and this program has helped me with a TON of my work. I would like to see more models and props be added and some kind of workshop support but overall it does its job great

it might be 'abandoned' and rough around the edges, but if you want a quick and somewhat easy posing tool, this might be your pick for years to come unless something better replaces it
