Eador is a universe made of countless shards of land drifting in the Great Nothing. Each of the shards is a little world unto itself, with geography and denizens of its own. The power over the shards is bitterly contested by Masters, the immortal beings mortals believe to be gods.

There is something that catches you for a dozen of maps or so, but the whole campaign is far longer. The route you'd want is even more finicky to execute. Closing NPC's inside their castles and exploring the map in the mean time is amusing. Give it a try I'd say.

I love eador. This game is great, it has issues with crashes BUT there are patches made by fans that can fix these issues(called fixers of the broken world). ITS a BRUTAL game until u master it (well it still is even after u master it) but its sooo much fun. Look at martin fenkas playthrough on youtube for how to actually play the game. Dont listen to the people who say its bad cus its to hard because if u play on the lowest difficulty its not hard at all.

Similar to Heroes Of Might and Magic and King's bounty, but better than either. Huge variety of buildings and units. Lots of items / armours / weapons that can change the battles. Because the items are randomised you can play on the same map yet have a different experience each time. If you're into strategy try this.
