Dungeons of Aether is really neat, but somewhat flawed. I think the base mechanics are honestly extremely well done and do require some thought to how everything works out. Each character has their own gimmicks to juggle and there is honestly a lot of strategy. I think where it falls flat is that towards the end the enemies just have really annoying gimmicks. It feels like some make it too easy for enemies to just stop your attack in a way that you can't account for. The main issue with this is having to rely on a lot of the rng. I don't mind as much for some of the bosses but it feels like basic enemies have the most annoying gimmicks every now and then. But I like the story and gameplay enough to balance it out. I definitely recommend trying it out, especially if you like the characters and lore from Rivals of Aether.

Although DoA being a hybrid of strategy and dungeon crawling was a bit of a turn-off at first, I actually found myself pretty addicted to the game. Also Fleet and Ayala are definitely gay for each other

Very addicting and very pretty game. It's not super long but I'd say its worth its cost.

Very good story and neat game play. The first section with Artemis had me pulling my hair out until I realized that I "had" to use the bank.

Very fun mechanic, though sometimes you get into a stalemate until you get good or bad luck. Story was fun, and there was enough item movement and characters that it felt fresh in each dungeon.
