Intuitive and open gameplay with lots of choices, amazing music and delightful visuals. Dungeon of the ENDLESS can be casually picked up every once in a while and played easily without a problem.

A classic game that runs on any computer and has a lot of depth and strategy. You're exploring a dungeon while defending a crystal at the same time, so you need to open doors carefully to ensure the path you're taking doesn't open up a weakspot in your defenses. The game kind of dips into a million different genres at once; dungeon crawler, tower defense, RTS, roguelike...they all mesh together to make quite the unique gaming experience. There's no direct combat, rather you instruct your heroes to hold a specific room and they will automatically perform actions within the room to the best of their ability, whether that is operating resource modules to boost their output, repairing turrets, or simply bashing the bad guys. There's a lot of little tips and tricks to maximize your hero potential, many strong combinations of heroes and modules to discover, and different flavors of gameplay via the starting modifiers. The game is also quite difficult, and it knows it. The two difficulties are 'Easy' and 'Too Easy', and this is not a game in which playing on the latter (especially when learning the ropes) should be seen as a detriment. My stats show that I have an epic 10% victory rate, though there's plenty of things I mess up with all the time. It's also multiplayer, but realistically going beyond 2 players isn't that great. You will typically want two or more support heroes that boost resource gain in order to keep up with the demands of the dungeon, and they will basically never move from their room unless disaster strikes. This means having more than 2 players given the 4-hero cap results in at least one person relegated to sitting around doing nothing. That can be fun too, if that player is happy to command the team, but in such situations there are usually better group multiplayer experiences to be found elsewhere. There's also a sequel out (Endless Dungeon), but sadly it trades a ton of the depth of the original for some relatively bland action and more involved multiplayer. While I recommend both, I recommend this one far more.

This is one of those games that if you forced yourself to play for 2 hours and actually learn the mechanics of the game, next thing you know you will have 250+ hours in and show no signs of slowing down. I would kill for another installment of this game.

The only few rouguelikes i enjoy, maybe cause its more about strategy and base building and resource management than about "getting gud" or "die 100x times until you get strong". Hoping for a sequel

It blows Endless Dungeon out of the water in terms of strategy and depth. Incredible title. Brutally hard. Would love a true sequel to this.
