Inferior to the Old Megaton edition, but still a fun way to experience one of the best shooters of all time. The new campaign is meh. If you haven't played Duke, grab this. If you already own the Megaton Edition, its the superior version.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is a nostalgic trip back to one of the most iconic first-person shooters of the 90s. The co-op/deathmatch mode is very buggy, crashes frequently, which is really annoying. Many episodes haven't been added and are unplayable. Overall, the game has a lot of issues on Steam. it’s a fun experience for long-time fans and newcomers looking to explore a piece of gaming history. 6/10

The game is good so far, I would recommend it to get it during a sale. Now, if you already bought it, you can patch it to give you the original contents from the previous version they pulled out the store that may not be in the version of the game. First, download eDUKE32, a sourceport to run the game better: https://www.eduke32.com Get the latest build, extract everything into the main folder and change the eDuke32.exe file name to duke3d.exe Now, you need to download a fix for the port to be compatible with this cursed version: https://github.com/Hendricks266/e32wt Again, just extract everything into the main folder When you open the game, the sourceport screen will open. Select the "Duke Nukem [STOPGAP]" option, and now you can play this game decently.

This edition blends nostalgia with modern enhancements. As someone familiar with the original, revisiting Duke's world feels like a nostalgic journey. The addition of a new episode, improved visuals, and online multiplayer add value to the package, making it a worthwhile experience for both longtime fans and newcomers alike. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3257414132 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3252772804

Outside of the fact this version of Duke Nukem 3D is missing all the DLC from Megaton Edition and has a couple gameplay quirks, this is the best **OFFICIAL** classic Duke Nukem experience. What really would of made this the ultimate version was to figure out a way to involve all 3D DLC and include other playable editions like the infamous N64 port that had exclusive differences. One of the biggest changes in the N64 version is the ability to actually save "the babes" which has its own end screen stat. Something that makes perfect sense for what Dick Kickem does. But in all honestly, Duke Nukem needs a grand return like what DOOM did
