When a game makes you feel like an absolute bad ass, when all you do is hit fake drums with fake drum stricks, you know you've done something right. This game feels soooo good to play. Could it feel even better? Sure, but the game does more than enough in my opinion. The game's original soundtrack, while not amazing, does the job. I didn't exactly get a "OH MY GOD" moment or anything but it all sounds good. The other songs they have from bands are great! Good variety with some absolute classics and bangers in there. The DLC so far is also looking good. Even if I'm not personally interested in the majority of the songs, I would still say its a good selection based on what a lot of people like. As for the negatives, well the vocals in the original soundtracks are incredibly mixed. I just don't find a lot of them to be particularly good to be honest, which is unfortunate because I think if they nailed the vocals on the tracks I probably would've had a few "OH MY GOD" moments, because the instrumentation on most, if not all of them, are great. It also doesn't seem like the game has too much content overall, with a so far limited workshop selection and pretty short campaign. Overall though, what really sells this game is the core gameplay. And to me at least, it feels SOOO good. Yeah, the hit registration I find can be slightly wonky at times, but other than that, I can't really say I have any complaints yet! It's damn good! I just hope there is more content, but it looks like there will be, so I'm not worried. In summary, not perfect, content is not exactly bursting, but what is there is overall really really good, and thanks to the core gameplay feeling solid, I'd say this is still overall a safe purchase for anyone into VR Rhythm games(Especially if you love Rock and Metal).

A very fun game. No matter the difficulty I play at, I have a lot of fun. Great for reliving stress, just having fun, and simply giving you a fun morale boost.

I've honestly been having a blast with this title and I've only just started playing. I know the typical haha IGN reviews say this, but I mean it genuinely when I say this game made me feel like a drummer. Song selection is decent, although not a fan of some of the "Covers" of popular songs. However I do realize this is a rather small studio, so I can't criticize too much. If you have any interest in drumming and also love immerse vr arcade games, $20 is a steal.

really fun game! its cool seeing airborne be featured in a game too (they came from the same small city that i live in) only problem i have is that i wish you could rotate the drums when adjusting them, i have to restart my game a couple times each time i want to play because for example the drums would be sometimes facing my desk when i don't want them to otherwise id be punching my desk, it'd be cool if i could just rotate them in the other direction, its cool that you can move them further away and to the side a bit and adjust the height if you want really looking forward to all the future content to be added

Played on Quest 3 While there isn't a great variety of songs in the base pack or even with the DLC really the developer does provide Steam Workshop integration that allows the community to add their own songs. As of this review there is already about an equal number of songs in the workshop as the official game. Be default I think all VR games need a built in re-centering feature. Game does not appear to have one. On Quest 3 you have to hold down the left controller menu button until the Steam window comes up and then choose the re-center icon and the bottom left. Also would like to see an option for sticks to always be in hands. Currently neither option is ideal. One option is always gripping the controller button which can get tedious. 2nd option is they stay in your hands but if you accidentally hit the front trigger (which will happen) you'll drop them. Price at $20 seems very fair, I got it on sale at $14. Windows 10 4070 Ti 64 GB RAM Quest 3
