April 2025
These Devs made a decent game and think they somehow control the entire concept of drug dealing in a game. This game is at best ALRIGHT, but between the bugs and lack of things to do outside of selling/processing drugs it gets repetitive and boring fast. The best part of the game has to be the graphics by far. Honestly just play the first one and then move on. I was gonna wait and buy the casino DLC but I don't think that's gonna happen because these devs think they deserve the world for making a 7/10 game AT BEST, that's not even in Early Access. With it not being 'Early Access', They want us to pay for every content update including said 'Casino Update', even though most Sim games will put in a casino in the BASE GAME because it helps people keep playing when you can do more than one thing to stay entertained. Also, WHEN IS THE RELEASE OF THE DLC ITS BEEN OVER 5 MONTHS SINCE IT WAS TEASED. I enjoyed my first play-through, but this game wasn't that fun until you add MODs because its very repetitive without them, you just grow process and deliver. its a decent loop but they didn't even have MIXING upon release. MIXING WAS THE BEST PART OF THE FIRST GAME YOU GUYS MADE AND YOU DIDN'T ADD IT TO THE SECOND GAME FOR MONTHS. Edit: The DEVS/Publisher have decided not proceeded with the lawsuit against Schedule 1, but my review remains the same. without the possible lawsuit this game wouldn't have got over 1000 negative reviews and I'm not here because I hate the game so I won't add to that energy unlike those in the comments under this review. However, you DEVS can change a lot about the game to make it a better experience. the map is huge compared to the first game so i don't know why you'd keep adding to it. polish the map and make it more dense, make it feel bigger than it is, like the sewer system in the first game. it added so much mid-game its crazy to not have something like that here, sure we get boats but they are useless for anything more than moving stuff from one island to the next. give us like cartel tunnels or a drone airdrop function for big deliveries to other islands.(drop a crate on the island for recovery and distribution) Also the processing and growing feels so fake compared to the first game, we used to be able to crush Viagra, do percentages and mix the powder and now we just drag and drop for some reason. drag the pill to the grinder and wait for the powder and then drag and drop that, it just feels more like a clicker game and not a simulation experience. Its the little improvements that could make a big change here. like for example fixing the ground in-front of the bunker door. Changing the car system so we can drive it instead of just picking our next parking spot. things that add to the experience without taking away from the game. Why cant we see the snakes in the grass, stuff like that would make a big difference. Also the gangs could grow in the area too, maybe add a little competition instead of the same 3 thugs standing outside my house that I have to fight everyday. The apologies from the publisher, "Dear Gamers, We’d like to address your Schedule I / Drug Dealer Simulator publication and share some facts regarding the situation. 1. There is no lawsuit. 2. It is not our intention to prevent TVGS from selling or developing their game. 3. There is an investigation into the nature of similarities between the games since a preliminary legal analysis indicated there might have been an infringement. 4. The analysis and investigation were necessary in the light of repeating opinions that the games are very similar. By not investigating it, Movie Games, being a publicly traded company, could face severe consequences for negligence. 5. The above was communicated only via ESPI, a stock market communication system, where we are obligated to publish such information for full transparency. Not publishing it would also be a case of negligence. From there it was picked up by the media and, in some cases, wrongly reported as a lawsuit. 6. The above is handled only by Movie Games, the publisher, not Byterunners, the developer of Drug Dealer Simulator. The developer is not involved in it whatsoever. There is no ill will towards TVGS. We even mailed them best wishes shortly before the release, when the game was already huge, but before the investigation was deemed necessary. However, we are obligated to perform this investigation, act accordingly to the scope of the infringement if it is confirmed, and inform the public about it via ESPI. Best wishes, Movie Games" Until some changes are made 'Schedule 1' remains the best Drug dealing game at the moment, with your first game 'Drug Dealer Simulator' coming in at second. this game doesn't even make most peoples list because its a bad prequel, EDDIE DESERVED MORE. FOR THE COMMENTS: Movie Games makes things for their investors not the gamer, go do some research instead of watching tik-toks, they are a public company, listed on the Warsaw stock exchange meaning anyone can buy shares or make an investment, meaning that 90% of the time the games are funded by people who don't actually care about the game just the profits. Look at their sales pitch to investors, Read their website and actually try to understand how they operate. They invest in devs and games to have the name of that game binded to them just like every-other publisher, You have a brain, try and use it. IF YOU WANT BETTER SALES MAKE A MORE ENTERTAINING GAME. IF YOU WANNA SUPPORT SOME DEVS THAT CARE ABOUT GAMING, Buy: 'Schedule 1' https://store.steampowered.com/app/3164500/Schedule_I/

The game is like getting a "special mix" from your dealer, just for it to turn out to be 80% baking soda. Can you still have a good time? Sure, but it's far from what it could have been

So I played DDS1 and really enjoyed it. I was really excited for 2 to come out, and honestly, I haven't been hugely disappointed. I think they've done a great job expanding and adding good mechanics while disposing of the unnecessary complications of the first game. What's crazy to me, is that developers continue to put out games that are just clearly not finished. If this were listed as "early access" I guess I'd understand, but it's a full release. I shouldn't be seeing through boulders. There shouldn't be islands with literally nothing on them. There shouldn't be quests that don't go away even after you've completed them. Stop putting out unfinished games for full release.

After reading all the negative reviews i have to agree with a lot of them. >The old drug system where you could see it all and package it >Dealing at night And a few other things I get that you are trying to 'Re-invent' the game but some things are better left untouched Some parts just seem so lazy and thrown together, in DDS 1 When you click to talk to a dealer / customer, they would turn to look at you, and then walk away, why change that? it takes away from the immersion. I'm not a fan of that everything to do with drugs is in UIs and not being able to physically see the drugs. The story is ok. The bad voice acting takes away from it sometimes and they don't say half the stuff int he caption box. The map is huge, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing as I have only explored 1/3rd of it. the vehicles are a bit of a joke, was expecting to be able to driving around on my moped delivering drugs. Extremely disapointed. I personally have not experienced any major bug/ glitched, a few light glitches I'm giving the game a positive review because ultimately, I am really enjoying the game and really hope they improve some of the unrealistic/unfinished parts of the game. for £20 I can't complain, there is a lot to do/ explore. PS. This is my first ever review of a game, sorry if it's all over the place
