Just like the original, Drakensang The Dark Eye, but better. A nice prequel, telling the story of Ardo's, Frogrimm's and Cano's younger selves adventures alongside your custom character. Really love it and was an instant buy and download when it 1st launch!

Wonderful bit of creativity. A whole lot of good intentions and low and behold they are no more. It is a great game sorry to see them gone.

Very solid old school RPG. I would even say it is a "hidden gem". The writing is brillant and intelligent. Music excellent. Graphics for 2010 very good, actually I like the graphics more than DAO. Combat can be a little clunky, it is RTWP (Real Time With Pause). But after some fights you know how it is done. There are lots of spells and skills to choose from, so there is some variety to combat. Game is quite hard sometimes, even for me as a seasoned RPG player. Overall, a very solid and often funny experience (the dialogues have a very distinct dry humour). Runs well on Linux / Proton / Steam. On sale, a clear recommendation!

Runs well with proton. Steameck will probably be problematic since there's no controller support. If it runs for you, (seems to have win10 issues) it, and it's predecessor, are gems worth the buy many times over, it leans heavy into the pen and paper experience it is sourced from, which is a good thing in my book.
