So I don’t know what magic happened that had my ps4 controller be recognized and be able to play, but recently it doesn’t recognize it at all. The game has that dynasty warriors classic koei formula mixed in. The cast of characters are visually appealing as well as nice to fight alongside with them. You can build strong team comps, change vocations, and learn various skills. The game does have one very annoying element to it, and it’s an issue more recent koei/musou/warriors titles seem to have with your ally npcs during this almost tower defense-ish fighting armies of monsters while trying to clear objects points in the game. The ally NPCs are basically helpless and will die without your assistance. Go over to save them, and hope that the others’ morale/health isn’t struggling because otherwise those stages will take far longer than they need to in order to beat them. It is fun, but those segments are a pain to slog through.
