Remembered playing this a lot as a kid and had to try it again. Don't know if I came after all the complaints got fixed, but I thought the port to PC was actually pretty good, minus the puzzle section... For some reason, after I completed one reaction, the game would instantly crash so I had to reboot the game like 10 times to complete a quest, which is disappointing because I found this section the most fun to play. Some of the combinations are pretty clever and comical. Can't exactly say it's worth the price, but I wouldn't mind picking it up whenever it is on sale!

Classic. I played this game on Flash. Back then, it was an interesting and enjoyable experience. It was nice to replay a childhood game now. The new, somewhat clumsy interface for mobile devices looks flashy and isn't enjoyable.

Doodle God Like many others, I played Doodle God back when it was just a flash game and so have a great amount of nostalgia for the game, I am glad to say the steam version is an even more refined version of the game with a unique change from the original in that all the elements you create are visually added to a model earth. This game can be played on mobile for much cheaper or online for free so I recommend buying it on a hefty sale. Gameplay Doodle God is a game about combining elements to create new ones, you start with only 4: earth, water, fire and air. With these you can create over 300 elements, for most of the elements you create they are given a visual representation on a model earth that is added to as you play through the main story episodes, elements with no more reactions are given a blue border to make it easier to know what you can use for your next element. The game also includes a bunch of smaller gamemodes/features: Quests; which are short smaller episodes with a focus on a specific topic, Artefacts; which are collectables based on element unlocks, Puzzles; where your goal is to create 1 specific unique element and Tournament Mode, which I haven't played but you can place on a leaderboard against other players. Achievements (22/22) 100% achievements are basically for unlocking every element, there are hints in the game that will help with this but you also have to complete all episodes without hints so after a lot of trial and error it's probably easier to look at a guide. Music/sound Music is decent but will probably get annoying after a while, there is a pretty good narration in the story side of things. Settings/Accessibility/Misc Game has an encyclopedia which includes all unlocked elements which can be useful to cross-reference to figure out which elements you don't have. Multiple types of hints. Cloud Saves. In-game achievements page you can reset. Kid-safe mode to censor nsfw elements. 14 languages supported. TL;DR Doodle God is a God game where you combine elements to create the world. Beautiful art. Over 300 elements to combine and create. Lots of gamemodes. Achievements for unlocking all elements. Fun puzzle game about combining materials, including quirky quotes about each element, and lots of different modes and settings. Originally a mobile game, this version does not have ads or such, and gives the player unlimited hints if they get stuck. Rating: B
