So, it does NOT run properly on any Windows 11 install. HOWEVER, for a game from 2012 that isn't a surprise. Dogfight 1942 is just as good a title today as it was when it first came out. It's not competing with games like Ace Combat or Warthunder, but it's an amazing title. If you enjoy WW2 planes and arcade style shooters, you'll really enjoy this game. The fact that it's one of the few Local Co-Op titles in the genre makes it an even better game.

This very quickly rose to the top of my favorite WW2 flying games due to it's superb aircraft handling and pacing, what other game lets you play The Battle Of Britain, Barbarossa, Midway, Tobruk, El Alamein, Kursk, Iwo Jima, and Berlin all in one? It even had other standouts like shooting down V1 Buzz Bombs in a Gloster Meteor, the assassination of Admiral Yamamoto, as well as the last stand of the Battleship Yamato! It's weird that you can't run it in fullscreen and have to use the launcher to set it to windowed mode, but besides that this is a titan in it's niche. I might be persuaded to think the reason there hasn't been a decent attempt at an arcadey WW2 flying game since 2012 is that this is the pinnacle that cannot be surpassed.

Launch options and uncheck "Full Screen." Will only run on win11 in windowed mode. Mouse and KB controls are pretty squirrely. Controller is fun. Only get if on major sale.

Worth an afternoon of your time when it's on sale. Fun, arcade-style aerial combat. Have to play in windowed mode on Windows 11.

i got it when it was on sale its a good game used to play it on the ps3. also when u download the game their is a setting page u cant play the game on full screen it wont open so u have to change it besides that its a fun game
