A solid spin-off DLC that introduces several interesting gameplay abilities to the mechanics of the second game, along with a new standalone storyline. It delves into the conclusion of Daud, the Outsider, and Billie Lurk, and seemingly, unfortunately, the Dishonored series as a whole. Many fans may have mixed feelings about how the Outsider, as the central figure of this expansion, and his lore were presented. However, I believe the developers did a good job of clarifying many questions about the Void and its Prisoner. The finale ties these explanations together in a logical way. Whether you like this approach or not is debatable, but it was executed competently, and I personally was satisfied. What’s saddening is that it’s already been eight years, and it seems unlikely that we’ll see a new installment in this series. And recent news about Arkane Studios doesn't add a lot of optimism too. Still, this DLC is both good and, most importantly, engaging. 9.0/10.

The Empress is dead, long live the Empress! While Emily Kaldwin returns to Dunwall with her father to rightfully sit on her regained throne, the captain of the Dreadful Wale - Meagan Foster has other worries. In addition to having a secret identity in the form of Billie Lurk, the right hand of the famous assassin Daud, she has a difficult task ahead of her. As the title of the game suggests - she must kill the Outsider. What exactly is this mysterious guy with black eyes, who gives philosophical talks and gives magical abilities to the chosen inhabitants of the empire? And is it really possible to destroy a divine entity that dwells in a mystical world where only the dreamers and the dying are allowed? Unlike Corvo and Emily, our "heroine" does not bear the Outsider's mark, but that does not mean that he did not give her a little supernatural power. In a somewhat involuntary exchange for half of her face and right hand, you gain three abilities after the opening mission. Foresight, which allows Billie to stop time, mark enemies or points of interest, even through walls. Displace, which is similar to Blink from previous games, or teleport. And finally Semblance, thanks to which you can borrow someone's appearance for a while and move between enemies without arousing suspicion. In addition to her supernatural abilities, Billie also has a wide arsenal of weapons that will greatly facilitate both sneaking and action-oriented progress through the game. Unfortunately, the ending is rather anticlimactic and feels like a pretty definitive end to the series, which does not prevent further spin-offs or prequels. A pleasant duty for stealth fans and for those who have not yet had enough of Dishonored's gameplay. 65%

It’s a great game and (for the moment) finale to the dishonored franchise. A few quibbles: Rosario Dawson definitely phoned it in with voice work. I have not heard a less compelling performance from an otherwise great actress, but I guess it goes to show you that Voice acting is an art unto its own. Second, I don’t like that dishonored 2 did away with the mystique of the outsider by explaining to us that he ascended into his power by being sacrificed by a cult, but I found the way this story incorporated the new lore to be really unique and compelling. Over all, I can recommend it

The playing time is relatively short, the areas are structured more like a sandbox and you have around 5 levels with tasks, as well as the option of how to complete the mission (example: bring a target person to person A or B, your choice), which brings a bit of variety. Due to the lack of a long-winded story, it suddenly plays like a quick Hitman level, i.e. spawn, kill the target person and disappear again, either stealth or full action. You can like it.

You can chat with rats. Edit: After talking to every rats encountered on map, the rats sound annoyingly horny.
