for a while now, i haven't really been enjoying games. finding it hard to really get into one, and have mostly stopped playing.. honestly i thought that maybe video games just weren't really my thing anymore that is until i found dishonoured. this game has rekindled my love for gaming. the dark, twisted streets of dunwell tell a passionate and dark story. but one of hope as well. its immersive, dark setting, mixed with extremely flexible game play, makes this easily one of my favourites of all time. my only regret is not taking longer with each mission. (its a little bit short, only 5 missions) do yourself a favour and buy it. its worth every single penny.

This is an iconic immersive sim game with amazing design of maps and game mechanisms. There are many options to approach any situation and determine the city and peoples' fate. The stories in both the main game and DLCs are good. There are a lot of replay value in map exploration and battles. Immersive sim games in general should be done in slow pace, as a lot of fun comes from observing carefully, plan and executive without requirement on reflex. Most part of the game are designed this way and you can play at your own pace. The only exception is the Dunwall City Trials DLC which needs fast reflex in several stages. This also means immersive sims are naturally not suitable for multi-players. Achievements in this game are well designed overall. There are many achievements on possible side stories and different play styles. Note that several achievements in the Dunwall City trials are very difficult. Headhunter, Daredevil, By My Hand Alone and Void Star are all challenging achievements that requires hours of practice and a bit of luck. Overall, it's a very recommended game for any one loves single players games.

Dishonored is one of the best single player games I ever played. It came very close to the original Deux Ex for me. There are so many ways to play this game - pure stealth, pure combat or a combination of both. The game manages to take player decisions into account and change things in subtle and interesting ways. The powers and skills acquired allow different ways to approach mission objectives. UI is customizable, and the game works fine on ultra wide resolution (3440x1440). I never experienced any technical issues. It also has quick save, quick load, auto save and manual save. A true PC game. I highly recommend it.
